What should we consider working on next in the Ubuntu Phone Music App?
+Andrew Hayzen and +Victor Thompson are the lead community developers of the Ubuntu Phone Music App. They asked me to create a poll to see what our users think they should work on next.
What do you think? Pick one from the poll or give us your constructive suggestions in the comments.
1. The ability to favourite/rate tracks, which will allow them to be automatically added to a "Favorited" or "5 Star" songs dynamic Playlist
2. Have the app automatically create dynamic playlists that show frequently played songs
3. The ability to share a track to social media. For instance: "I'm listening to 'My Heart Will Go On' by Celine Dion on my Ubuntu device."
4. The ability to change the app's background colour from the current dark theme to a lighter/white theme.
5. The ability to repeat just the current song.

+Gregory Opera Absolutely hate AVLS on Android, as it has no understanding of the type of headphones or line out connection that might be employed... and they have no way to know the volume level of the recording being played. With some of my favourite headphones, I simply can't walk down a normal city street and listen to some podcasts because they are not recorded at 0dB and my headphones are not the most efficient in the world... there is no way to override the system to cater for quiet recordings, ambient noise, or headphone efficiency.
Also, when plugging into a car, AVLS limits the output to WAY below line level, and so I have a choice of risking deafeningly loud audio when switching back to any other source... which could be extremely dangerous in a moving vehicle, or having my screen obscured semi-permanently by a warning that I will damage my hearing.
This is the most stupid and dangerous system imaginable....19 ott 2015
