My wife and I went for a drive up to Mount Rainier yesterday. This bridge is for cars (one lane wide) or foot traffic and, except for the cables and a bunch of bolts, is completely constructed of wood. It's beautiful!

+Fred George is a well known contrarian in the software world. I have been studying his Micro Services Architecture for possible implementation of my company's network control plane. His presentation style is loose and free, just like the architectures he proposes.

Story
Tagline
Scalable networking systems architect, Android developer, entrepreneur, father, husband, engineer, writer, futurist, geek.
Introduction
I'm a father and a husband and an engineer.

For a living I draw arcane diagrams on whiteboards, trying to make sure everyone is building the _same_ product. The diagrams have something to do with networking equipment.

I am an enthusiastic Android developer.

I also write a bit of fiction in my spare time.

I have been a geek since way before it was fashionable - as was my father before me.
Bragging rights
Survived working at a few startups. My children are wonderful people and nearly grown. I speak Hardware, Software, Mechanical, and Chipmonk fluently. I have several technology (hardware and software) patents granted, and quite a few in the pipeline. I don't just pretend to be skillful in design of user interface and user experience.
