OMG, Google Maps Quest mode is hysterical.
I love the old school direction pad at the top left.
The street view icon is now a little Zelda like warrior.

What world landmarks can you find that have fun icons?

Imagine if they build a tower defense game using this!

Awesome teamwork everyone. Keep them coming. Now wouldn't it be nice if Google+ allowed pictures in replies.

This is awesome everyone. It's so much fun to see what you're adding. I wish we could embed the pictures though so I didn't have to toggle between here and Google Maps.

+Raphael Isidro how did you create the "friendly link" in your reply? (meaning, a long URL behind shorter text)
It's called coordinates. Google it :P
+Shan Amin I know what coordinates on a map are! I was asking how the link text was added to a post. I've always wanted to hide long URLs behind friendlier text in G+ posts, but I don't see a way to do it.
+Alan Lepofsky It's not user-controlled. Some links G+ just knows how to shorten - google maps, youtube, etc.
+Alan Lepofsky In google maps: Right Click->What's nearby? then click at the little chain icon between the printer icon and "pegman"
+JH Washington Wow, that's quite an undertaking. The mega-list from reddit that I posted about has a huge list, I imagine it will take you a long time, but thank you for doing it.
