Google Adds a Way to Brick an Android Device via Recovery - Google developers recently merged a commit to AOSP that allows you to brick your smartphone via recovery mode. This feature will also be accessible via Android Device Manager too, and it is designed to let you securely wipe all partitions of your lost smartphone or tablet. This will need to be supported by OEMs though, as they’ll need to designate the partitions in /etc/recovery.brick.

Boom! The truth...

A minimum wage job isn't enough to pay for an apartment anywhere in America.

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2016/5/26/1531342/-New-study-shows-that-minimum-wage-workers-can-t-afford-rent-in-any-American-city

Roughly half of Americans are within $400 of a financial crisis.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2015/06/03/tnearly-half-of-americans-say-they-cant-afford-an-unexpected-400-expense/

For Canadians, that's only $200.

http://www.news1130.com/2016/02/16/canadians-monthly-bills-debt/

40% of households have already fallen short on meeting their expenses.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/manulife-survey-debt-1.3338148

Ontario's minimum wage went up 2.3% in four years.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/ontario-raises-minimum-wage-to-11-an-hour-1.2516659

Now it's only three to five dollars below a living wage, depending on where you live.

Meanwhile, what you pay for natural gas can jump 40% overnight.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/enbridge-s-400-per-year-gas-hike-approved-by-regulator-1.2589608

Do the math. It's no wonder that fewer young adults can afford to live on their own today than at any time in the last 130 years.

Why do we accept constantly growing inequality on such unbelievably staggering levels?

https://www.oxfam.org/en/pressroom/pressreleases/2016-01-18/62-people-own-same-half-world-reveals-oxfam-davos-report

Maybe it's because the vast majority of us have a "miniscule, near-zero, statistically non-significant impact on public policy."

http://rt.com/usa/us-democracy-oligarchy-policy-512/

Why do we still believe spending almost all of our waking hours working is necessary anyway? Why do people look at you like you've got an extra head if you suggest that this system is broken, which it clearly is? Why do we fight so hard to maintain a way of life that is destroying our health as well as our environment?

You might actually like living in the alternative.

Even apart from the fact that it may be necessary to avoid climate catastrophe.

If North Korea has got your back, you know you're doing something wrong...

A friendly media, praising Donald Trump as a "wise politician and presidential candidate with foresight" - North Korea lauds "Trump Shock."

Systemless? Yes, please...

Unoffical Systemless Xposed is Now Available – OTA’s and Pay Unaffected !
Recognized Contributor topjohnwu has modified the Xposed Framework (V.85) to work alongside Chainfire’s systemless SuperSU in order to also run without modifying the system partition. This means that you can install Xposed modules on a rooted device running the stock ROM and continue to receive OTAs. Some users have even reported that Android Pay works using this

Small dine in area, great take out, and excellent delivery service. Oh, and the prices? AWESOME. Buff said, go NOW!

Food was great, staff was not... They take too long to seat, don't ask if you want a refill on drinks, give others (mostly non-Iranians) preferential treatment, and are overly rude at times... Oh, and forget about ordering delivery; they will substitute/omit items as they deem fit AND will fail to ask if that's okay with you... In conclusion, you get what you pay for; some half decent food and poor service is all that can be expected from this cheap excuse for a restaurant...

Guards sleeping, sitting in car, lie on reports, and lack of any management supervision. This review is brought to you by not only an ex-employee BUT as an agent of an ex-client. I wish more clients would speak out about their experiences; maybe they can then prove me wrong...
