This position works in the Office of the Dean and provides team leadership, daily oversight, and faculty support for web and digital communications in 12 departments, 11 experiment stations, and dozens of programs and projects within the College of Agricultural Sciences. This position designs and develops strategies and tactical plans for technology solutions that address the learning technology needs of the college.
This position directs the CAS Web Team, leading development and progress toward strategic goals for web and digital communications. The person should have excellent leadership and communication skills, work well independently and in team settings, and effectively directing technology training. This position may have responsibility for and exercise judgement in the supervision of staff with effective recommendations related to hiring, evaluation, and discipline up to and including dismissal.
This person shares a community of interest and level of responsibility with academic faculty to ensure successful implementation of web-based research and learning technologies. This position is critical to the college's outreach, teaching, and research missions.
