We have purchased a few items at The Native & American Art and Jewelry store (now destroyed) during our trips to Oklahoma. Old buildings and fire are not a good combination.
OKLAHOMA CITY - Fire crews are on scene of a commercial fire in Southwest Oklahoma City. Firefighters were called to the scene just before 8 a.m. Initial reports indicate heavy flames are coming fr...

Watched Whiplash last night. A little hard to watch at times but overall a very good movie. Highly recommended.

Rated R for language (i.e. don't watch if you are offended by the F--- word)
Directed by Damien Chazelle. With Miles Teller, J.K. Simmons, Melissa Benoist, Paul Reiser. A promising young drummer enrolls at a cut-throat music conservatory where his dre...

Interesting read

The term "Obamanet" joins parade of insults to this current administration.
In The Wall Street Journal, Information Age columnist Gordon Crovitz writes that buyer’s remorse is already setting in for Google and other ‘net neutrality’ proponents.

More accurate to say that everyone was mugged.

With all the arguing going on about the so-called "net neutrality" regulations - have the new regulations been published so that we can read them?

Just a bunch of fear porn from the media over how obama is going to take over the interwebs.... People who forget about SOPA and PIPA and how the poor little innocent comcast's and verizon's of the world were ready to sell them out.

So yeah- much ado about nothing from an audience that does not understand the problems with layer7 filtering and shaping. Since they are likely okay with their ISP hijacking their DNS requests and doing shady crap like sending ad laden nxdomain replies.

Moving the internet to title II is what the court told the fcc to do after they caught ISPs dicking with traffic the first time- honestly is insane it took them this long.

The GOP is doing a good job pissing in their face on this one- making themselves look like Ted Stevens and his famous series of tubes rant...... out.....of....touch with tech to an extreme.

Its my guess they are going to just have a team of lawyers comb through their 2010 rules and make them bulletproof under Title II- so Verizon, Comcast, Timewarner and Cox can go properly suck an egg.

[ it was actually back in January 2014 that this was stated https://www.publicknowledge.org/issues/net-neutrality ]
