Israel has developed yet another ingenious invention - a remarkable pill/camera that the FDA just approved for colonoscopies. Will the BDS movement call for a boycott of this Israeli life-saving, cancer-preventing breakthrough as well - and set an example by refusing it if recommended by their own physicians? Who knows? In this case, their own hateful politics against Israel could, quite literally, become a pain in the butt.
“President Rouhani’s gloating is telling," said AJC Executive Director David Harris. "Is Iran truly committed to negotiating a permanent agreement to end its quest for nuclear-weapons capability, or has President Rouhani revealed an unaltered Iranian strategy of deceit, with which he has also been associated earlier in his career?"
“With the passing of Ariel Sharon, a defining chapter in Israel’s history goes with him,” said David Harris, executive director of AJC, the global Jewish advocacy organization. “He was a man of towering strength, uncompromising commitment, steely determination, and creative vision.”

"If the EU wants to remain an honest broker in the peace talks… it must unequivocally reject the boycott of Israel," writes AJC's Daniel Schwammenthal in the Wall Street Journal Europe.
“France and the United States may have very different approaches to confronting hate speech, but there should be no disagreement that this is a serious new manifestation of anti-Semitism that must be confronted. France’s Interior Minister has acted decisively to prevent Dieudonne’s stage performances and seek a ban on what has been described as his reverse Nazi salute. Such measures would violate constitutional guarantees in the U.S., but not so in France,” said AJC’s Rabbi Andrew Baker.
AJC applauded Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Mark Kirk (R-IL), Charles Schumer (D-NY) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for their leadership in introducing a new bipartisan bill on Iran. The Nuclear Weapon Free Iran Act proposes prospective sanctions on Iran should it violate the interim agreement, or should a final deal not be reached.
“Until there are tangible, verifiable, deeds by Iran to permanently end its quest for nuclear-weapons capability, Congress is doing the right thing, sending a strong message to Iran that it will pay a heavy price if a permanent agreement on its nuclear program is not achieved,” said AJC Executive Director David Harris.
AJC is urging Senators to move expeditiously to adopt the measure.
