The book "Takemusu Aiki" is the most complete and reliable record that we have of Morihei Ueshiba's writings. Did you know that the most frequently occurring phrase in that book isn't "Aiki", "Takemusu Aiki", or even "love"? The most frequently occurring phrase in that book is "Ama no Ukihashi" - "Floating Bridge of Heaven".

Doka and calligraphy by Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba:

"Build up the world"
This command he did grasp
Received from the honored mother of the nation
Thus stands Katsuhayabi
On the Floating Bridge of the Heavens
