It’s not just hurricanes that can wreak havoc on our beloved state. Last summer we experienced one of the worst rain seasons Florida has ever seen. Many consumers, especially those who don’t live in a designated flood zone, were caught unaware and weren’t covered for the damage to their homes (Tip: standard home insurance doesn’t cover floods – you need a separate policy).  http://ow.ly/10zKO2

Three years with American Integrity Insurance company, One disaster after another. Originally when Citizens Insurance handed me off to American Integrity I was assured that my screen enclosure was covered in the event of a hurricane. After I signed off with Citizens and ended up with American Integrity I found that I had no coverage on my screen house. After much work making contacts with Florida State Rep Michael Fasano, the Florida State Insurance Commissioner and the press American Integrity was forced to cover my screen house. Three years later I receive my insurance renewal on 3/24/2016 advising me that my premium that is due on April 10 2016 is past due. Let me repeat that in case it is confusing. Yes my payment that was due on 4/10/2016 but was past due on 3/24/16. How can that be? I called my insurance agent and they couldn't figure this out. So to prevent any lapse in coverage I gave my agent my credit card to make an immediate payment on 3/24/2016. Now any one with a little common sense would think if I make my payment a little more then 2 weeks before it is due everything would be fine. Think again. These mental midgets not only cancelled my insurance for lack of payment but they also notified my bank that holds the mortgage on my home. Now my bank has requested in excess of $3000.00 for them to insure my home. After speaking with my agent Lapella Allstate Insurance agency in Tampa I received a letter that stated a rescinded cancellation. By the way Lapella Insurance Comp fixed the problem at 9:00 PM. Unusual to find that dedication from an insurance agency. Ok, the problem is resolved for now. What happens when my renewal comes up in the future. Do I need to hide my face next time I go to my bank. I am a prominent business associate in a small town and run my business thru a small bank. Because the staff at American Integrity Insurance Company have the heads up there a_ _ I need to be aggravated and embarrassed. I wouldn't tell you where to buy insurance but seriously think about what I have wrote. By the way I had no choice other then 1 star other wise I couldn't post. My opinion they don't deserve any stars

Mr. Kanner, we apologize for any confusion that the communication we sent you on March 21 may have caused. In early February, we sent your renewal packet, providing you with 60 days’ notice of your premium due date of April 10. Florida law requires us to notify customers if their policy is within 10 days of cancellation due to non-payment. We choose to give our customers 20 days’ notice to give them even more time to prepare for their premium due date, and we sent you the communication on March 21 accordingly. Recognizing that documents often get crossed in the mail, we include a message in the communication asking you to please disregard the communication if you have already made your payment. We regret any misunderstanding about the intent of this legally-required communication and greatly appreciate your business.

ONE OF THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANIES OUT THERE! DONT BUY !!!! BEWARE!! THEY DONT WANT TO PAY ANYONE! WE HAD ROOF DAMAGE ON OUR HOUSE AND HAD A ROOFER LOOK AT IT AND ALSO CLAIM ADJUSTER CAME. THEY CAME BACK WITH A DAMAGE FORM HAIL IS SEVERELY PREJUDICED. WHILE A FEW BLOCKS A HEAD MY FRIEND WITH GEICO HAD THEIR CLAIMS SENT AND PAID WITHIN 3 WEEKS! OH DID I MENTION? YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM 20 TIMES FOR THEM TO ACTUALLY PICK UP ONCE , AND ALSO THEY ALWAYS SAY YOUR CLAIM IS COMING IN A WEEK I TOOK ABOUT 4 WEEKS TIME . ALSO THEY PULLED A REASON ON MY CLAIM SAYING IT WAS TOO LATE AND MANY EVENTS CAN HAPPEN THEREFORE THEY CANT PROVE AND GIVE US A CLAIM. THIS IS THE WORST INSURANCE COMPANY. NOW I HAVE TO SPEND 5-6K ON MY NEW ROOF CAUSE THIS BULLSHIT COMPANY ONLY LIKES MONEY BUT NEVER LIKES TO CLAIM ANYTHING. THEY ARE SLOW, VERY UNRESPONSIVE ALSO TRULY THE WORST INSURANCE IVE BOUGHT. IM GOING BACK TO GEICO EVENTHOUGH ITS MORE EXPENSIVE. ALSO THEY DONT LIKE WHEN PEOPLE CANCEL THEIR INSURANCE THEY MAKE ENDLESS EXCUSES NOT TO REFUND YOU BACK!!! STAY AWAY!!!

I just wanted to give a shout out to American Integrity Insurance Co. I am in the insurance industry and work for a small agency. We deal with many carriers on a daily basis and American Integrity is one of the best when it comes to handling any kind of endorsements (changes) we request, not just efficiently, but in a timely manner. No waiting for 7-10 business days, especially when it's something you need yesterday. Their customer service reps. are very knowledgeable and if they don't have an answer right away, they find one right away. Their premiums are very competitive and their website is user friendly. We don't find all these benefits with most carriers so I just wanted to stop to say thank you. You are most appreciated.

I have wind damage on my roof. All my neighbors are having their roofs repaired without question. I have a water stain on the interior side of my home from the roof damage. I left 6 messages with a return call of email. American Integrity denied my claim after taking 6 weeks for get back with me. My brother lives in the same subdivision and had a check from Farmer's Insurance in 3 days to repair his roof. DO NOT CONSIDER AMERICAN INTEGRITY FOR INSURANCE. I am very disappointed with their customer service and response time.

This company is big RIP off. I had wind damage on roof, they sent inspector out who determine that there is wind damage, This company straight away deny to share inspector's report to me. Inspector determine over 18 shingles damage and water leak at vent. This insurance company told me it will cost about $750 to repair all of the damage and i have$1000 deductible so they owe me nothing. This is big rip off. who will come and fix over 18 shingle and water damage at vent and repair/replace dry wall on ceiling. total unfair, they have very unethical way of doing business and serving customer. my advice is stay away form them.

If you did not receive the letter, please let us know so that we can re-send it to you. if you would like greater detail about the engineer’s findings, we would be happy to discuss them with you.

literally cracked my house open like an egg from a tree. that was 7 weeks ago. NOTHING- no payment, no reimbursement. Only the run around. We have provided receipts to them on multiple occasions. Now they ant the originals and will not five out their physical address (like we can't get it from the internet) so we can overnight to them. WHAT is this company hiding?? My insurance premiums obviously... I now have mold so bad I can barely get into my shell of a house to get the remainder of my things. DO NOT Use this company They are so bad my insurance broker will no longer sell their policies. My rating is am injustice hated it is an understatement.

Fantastic Customer Service, knowledgeable and attentive Underwriting, and a fair claims service department. As an American Integrity customer and a CSR for an agency that works with AIIC, I acknowledge that not every claim is going to end in a way that the homeowner would prefer. This is true of every insurance carrier. However, during my 3 years of working with AIIC I have not seen any claim be unfairly denied or had a client be ignored and mistreated. I trust that our clients are with the best carrier for their needs and if an issue arises, we work with the company to resolve the concern very quickly. AIIC is a wonderful carrier that I stand behind 100%.
