My vote is for Taking' Turns. I like the deck but I don't feel like it makes for good videos.

Makes some very good points.  I know I only use about 15% of the features in MS Office.
Google Drive, and the apps in it--Docs, Sheets, and Slides--are great for people looking for a simple Office suite. It's free, makes collaboration easy, and pretty much anyone can use it. But if you're used to something more traditional, like Microsoft Office, you may be hesitant to use it. Here's how to make Google Drive work more like the desktop suites you're used to.

WebJunction is looking for an awesome intern! Please pass along if you know anyone who might be interested.

This is a great opportunity for current LIS students and recent graduates to network with tons of libraries and tell some great library stories. It is a paid, full-time, three month internship position. Please pass along to anyone you think might be interested.

5 reasons to love libraries

This week is National Library Week, and we couldn't be happier to promote an institution that does so much for so little in communities across the country.

2014 is the year of Scarlett. This and everything else she is doing looks amazing.

I'll have what she's having.

I remember this commercial, and I know those Lindy Hoppers! :)

No, it's not the the intro to a hit 90’s TV show, but we do agree the resemblance is uncanny. In 2007, we asked users to imagine how a Gmail message travels from the moment you click "send." On the verge of Gmail's 10th birthday, embrace the nostalgia and enjoy the results: http://youtu.be/qKAInP_tmHk #TBT

Gray skies and raindrops today, though we managed to finish our walk just as the rain started falling.

Introduction
Cast to sea as an infant, I was raised by ninja-pirates on the good ship Sea Shank. I've got rapier wit, if not an actual rapier, and a proclivity for pomegranates.

I speak French. I have a particular fondness for chow mein. I'm existential, french-stiz, a modern Sisyphus. When I was young I would climb into the rabbit hutch with my favorite rabbits for hours at a time.

I'm random, quiet, and idealistic. I love the rain, the stars, and fuzzy caterpillars. I'm compelled to understand.
