I do not recommend using AGS Stainless. Their Co is not what they advertise or portray. I bought their highest grade stainless rail system, and rust stains started to come out, within 6 mos. The Co will not stand behind their product. I have the rail 2 summers and this year i will be replacing with a more reliable co. They should be called AGS Rust.

I would suggest doing business with a company other than AGS. One can tell by the owner's high-end Mercedes and now his high-end Jaguar parked out front that they are making a pile of money and seem to be in business strictly for the money, customers be damned. And when it comes to money, they want it right away up front before they do anything. However, when it comes to returning a customer's money, plan on months if ever. Likely never. My poor client, a retired school teacher who has no tools and lives on social security and a small pension, had to eat AGS's charge for two tools - about $250 - because they weren't returned in 30 days (never mentioned to me or the property owner) owning to the fact that her deck had to be built twice. I priced the tools and found better tools for under $50 - for both! So their tools are overpriced, inferior and are, de facto, another profit center designed to permanently extract money from customers.

Response from the owner - 2 months ago
AGS Stainless has provided thousands of beautiful railing systems to thousands of happy customers over the years. Very proud of their hard-earned reputation, AGS continues to strive to exceed customers' expectations. A standard AGS contract, which allows for 30 days of tool usage, was signed by the owner on January 22, 2014. Working with the contractor’s schedule, AGS shipped the railing out on January 8, 2015. AGS received the tools back, on June 6, 2016, 18 months after the issue date. AGS routinely grants tool-usage extensions to customers who call and request them. In this case, no such request was made. When the owner called AGS looking for her deposit, it was explained to her that the 30 day allotment had been grossly exceeded. At that time, the owner requested the tools back. They were returned to her on August 12, 2016.
