October 18 opening reception was a great gathering of Agora artists and exciting artworks, full of symbolism and color. Our current exhibition, 'Michael Dolen: The Circus Series' and 'Mystery as Muse', are on view at the gallery until November 2.

"I began 'The Essence of the Feminine' by stripping the canvas bare in an act of deconstruction, to free the work of any prejudices or preconceived forms. In this way, I believe in the utopia of free will. After this, a reconstruction process converts the canvas into an expansive, three-dimensional creation" -- Ignatius.

Using an original pouring method for layering acrylic paints onto a surface, Tina Louise Lambert creates strikingly impactful works whose harmonious color schemata can only be obtained by this very same method. The patterns and textures created in this way often resemble planetary or cosmological phenomena, where the dimensions of the canvas serve as their outermost limit.

On the evening of September 27, we hosted the opening reception for 'Autumn Equinox: Collective Visions in Abstraction and Figuration'. The show features works by fifteen artists who contend with the traditions of figuration and abstraction.
