Although I love enjoying this on any morning, it's even better for Valentine's Day. It's full of healthy fats from the nuts and is wonderfully festive. You could even serve it with some fresh strawberries cut into hearts!

Since going grain-free, something that I missed was buttery naan when enjoying my homemade tikka masala. That's how I was inspired to turn this into a pizza! Better yet, you just throw the chicken and sauce into the slow cooker and you end up with a perfectly tender and spicy chicken tikka masala.

This breakfast (with a side of bacon!) was something we ate at least 4 times a week when we lived in Hawaii. One of my favorite things was that the avocados were so huge and buttery that we included them in almost every meal!

When Ryan and I were dating in college (we’re actually high school sweethearts believe it or not), we’d spend every Saturday morning together. He’d drive over to my apartment early and we’d make chocolate chip banana pancakes for breakfast. Then we’d sit out in my living room on our tattered couch from the 70’s, drink our coffee, and eat our pancakes while watching the travel channel. These pancakes take me back every time! :)

I love spreading this on tart apples (pink lady, honey crisp, and fuji) because I think it helps the taste, but my Rosemary Raisin Crackers are a great option too. We also like serving it with coconut oil and sea salt Sweet Potato Chips, salami, prosciutto, grainy mustard, and pickled vegetables. Here's one of my favorite V-Day treat options because it's nut-free and paleo! I used sweet potato flour because it's slightly sweet so it works perfectly in these cupcakes. Mixed with a little arrowroot powder, they have the perfect rise and crumb and are moist on the inside and just a bit crisp on the outside.

These Mandarin Chocolate Truffles would be the perfect gift for your special someone! The outer chocolate shell provides a slight crunch when you bite in, and the chocolate inside melts as soon as it hits your tongue. I'll warn you... they're addicting!

Just like my macadamia waffles (and cashew waffles in Against all Grain), these are as simple as throwing everything into a blender and then letting the waffle iron do the work for you. And you won’t want to skip the syrup. The underlying tones of caramelized honey and butter mixed with the tart flavors of apples complete this blissful breakfast!

Love is in the air! And so is red food dye, gluten, and powdered sugar! You have all probably heard of the ill effects of food dyes (if not you can read some articles in this post), but they continue to be used in festive treats around the US to provide those vibrant colors that lure kids in. These are nut-free so they'd be perfect to bring to a Valentines Day celebration at your kids school!
