My wife and I stayed here after a drive up from NC and a tour of Monticello and found this place to be a great place to stay. It was our second Bed and Breakfast experience and they made it a great experience. We stayed in the Jefferson room which made our trip that much more fun. The room was very clean and the landscape beautiful. To top it off was the tremendous breakfast. We will definitely return but longer next time.

My husband and I stayed at Afton Mountain Bed & Breakfast recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. I haven't stayed at a B&B in the US and I was pleasantly surprised how gracious our hosts were and made our stay comfortable. Afternoon homemade cookies and early morning coffee was appreciated! They answered my many questions about the area and the home was historic but had many modern amenities. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were married in Charlottesville, and we decided to spend our first anniversary at Afton Mountain Bed & Breakfast. The hosts were amazingly warm and hospitable. We had an excellent stay, and I would recommend this gem to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Albermarle / Nelson County's wine country. Breakfast was great also!

My husband and I stayed at Afton Mountain B&B while we were in the area for a wedding. We had a wonderful experience! Orquida and Dan were so kind and did whatever they could to make our stay enjoyable. We purchased the brewery tour package, and they made every step of that perfectly care-free and fun. Breakfasts were delicious. We had a great time talking to the other guests while we were eating. The house is very well taken care of and beautifully decorated. Our bed was huge and comfortable and the room was a good temperature. We would definitely choose to stay at Afton B&B again!

My husband and I recently stayed for a night at this wonderful B&B. We were greeted by Dan who was very pleasant and gave us a tour of their delightful B&B. What a great mix of the modern and antique! Internet radio and very comfortable beds mixed with the air of the past made for a unique and relaxing experience. The area they are located is a great part of the VA wine country. We greatly enjoyed our wine purchase while sitting in the front yard. Orquida was an attentive host during the delicious breakfast including locally procured sausage. The environmentally conscious will appreciate many of their touches as well. We can't wait to come back for a longer trip!

Fantastic, the house and inn keepers of top notch. We wouldn't hesitate to reccomend it and we will be returning. The area has so much to offer that it could take many visits to see all of it. The rooms were spacious and the house had character.

This was my first-ever B&B experience, and I loved it. From the moment my friend and I walked in the door we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. The room was very comfortable, and we very much appreciated the free wi-fi throughout the house. Dan and Orquida added many thoughtful touches that made their place a "home away from home" -- the books in the library, the games, the guidebooks and restaurant suggestions, the fresh cookies available all day, etc. etc. The early-morning coffee, available for self-service any time from about 7:15 on, was much appreciated, and the breakfasts were absolutely incredible: something different every day, and every day it was wonderful.
