Staying at the Afton Mountain B&B has been great! It's very comfortable and the owner is so thoughtful and welcoming. No complaints whatsoever. Breakfast was delicious this morning and they happily customize for dietary restrictions. If you're in the area, definitely stay for a night or two. You won't be disappointed!

We loved our stay at Afton Mountain Bed & Breakfast. We were there celebrating our 10th anniversary and Orquida and Dan took great care of us! The breakfast was AMAZING and the facilities were wonderful. It was also in the perfect location with lots of places to visit including wineries, farmers markets, breweries, cideries, a distillery, and berry farms. I highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

Thanks, Leslie! We'd love to have you and Ben come back and stay a bit longer so you can experience more of the great things to do in the area.

We stayed 2 nights when we were in the area for a wedding at Wild Wolf Brewing Company. This is a beautiful part of the country and state! Orquida and Dan were perfect hosts. We stayed in the Shenandoah Room, which is on the first floor. The bed and space were comfortable and the bathroom and room were impeccably clean. They were kind enough to accommodate our gluten-free diet, as well as another guest's food allergies. The food and coffee were excellent; fantastic omelets and waffles, and cookies at bedtime. They take pride in their food and it shows. The location is perfect...very close to many wineries, cideries, breweries, and a couple distilleries...all within less than 20 miles. We had fun hitting some cideries before the wedding (Blue Toad, Bold Rock, Albemarle Ciderworks). We highly recommend staying here and look forward to staying with Orquida and Dan again!

Orquida and Dan are fabulous and friendly hosts. Breakfast was so delicious and fresh each morning (with lots of coffee available!). There are great wineries and breweries in the area, as well as hiking/biking trails (and Charlottesville is about a half hour away), but make sure to enjoy some time at the house, too - we had such a nice time relaxing at the B&B with cookies (always available upstairs!) and some local brews after a day of hiking.

Thanks, Shannon! We're so happy that you and Tom enjoyed your visit to the area. We hope to see you back soon! - Orquida and Dan

I recently spend four nights at Afton Mountain B&B for some much needed R&R and it surpassed my expectations on all fronts. Orquida and Dan were warm and welcoming as hosts. The breakfast was delicious and they were most gracious in accommodating special dietary requests. The room was comfortable and well appointed with an attention to detail - I especially appreciated the lighting in the room; I find that hotel lighting is often lacking. There were plenty of spaces to relax, read, write (2 parlors, 2 porches, a pool area) and the grounds were beautiful.

We stayed one night at Afton Mountain Bed & Breakfast and loved it. We felt very welcomed by Orquida and Dan. We brought our two year old along, and they were helpful in accommodating us. The home is lovely, well kept, and in a quiet area. It's close to Shenandoah National Park, where we went on two hikes. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Orqueda and Dan were amazing! Our stay was perfect! Anything that we requested was taken care of for us. It was my boyfriends birthday and they went above and beyond to make sure it was unforgettable for both of us! We couldn't be happier! Great customer service and hospitality! Loved the charm of their home as well!
