Spring is one of the most amazing seasons in Japan. Mesmerizing cherry blossoms all around, gentle sun, and romantic atmosphere of the waking up nature! So if you were planning on visiting Japan in 2017 - now is a perfect timing, as we just added spring dates to our Japan departures - starting from $1699! http://buff.ly/2deldqv

1) Do not cut your hair on Wednesday
2) Don’t leave home if you hear a gecko!
3) If you dream of a snake, you will meet your soul mate <3
4) If your left eye twitches you will have good luck!
5) Honk when driving pass the shrine or curve.
6) You'll see a ghost if you bend down and look between your legs! (don't try this)
7) Don't say a baby is cute 'cause a ghost will come & take it away
8) And last but not least: Your finger will fall off if you point at a rainbow!

My boyfriend and I booked our tour to Japan with Affordable Asia, and we enjoyed it tremendously. This being our first trip to Japan, we were happy to have a guide that could give us some tips and take us around to the major tourist sites. They arrange so much for you that I would never even think to do on my own. The hotels were amazing, not a single complaint. Seriously, I don't know how you could do a trip like this for less or equal money on your own.

I give Affordable Asia 5 stars. This is a warm, friendly and helpful travel agency. I've been booking with them for the last couple of years and have dealt with several different agents and have been happy with all of them. The guys are knowledgeable and work within the budget I give them. I know when I book with Affordable Asia, I can expect great service. This is a full service travel agency and I feel confident in recommending them to my friends and family.

My husband and I just returned from Affordable Asia's 9 day tour of Japan. We couldn't have been more thrilled with the entire trip. Our tour guide, Ichiro, was wonderful--informative, funny, and extremely organized. We couldn't have asked for a better person to introduce us to Japan! The accommodations, planned excursions, and transportation between cities--Tokyo, Hakone, Mt. Fuji, Kyoto, and Osaka--were all outstanding. Everything was seamless from start to finish. We also met great group of fellow travelers on the tour. I can't say enough great things about our vacation! Thank you for making our first trip to Asia so special. We will definitely use Affordable Asia again.

Do not book through this company they bait and switch on you. I went on their Japan tour they said we'd be booked in a 4 star Sheraton hotel in Tokyo for the first 2 night and for the last night of the trip in Tokyo instead the whole tour was put in subpar hotels. First 2 nights placed I the Prince hotel annex tower. Which was a smoking room so stale that we could barely breathe and only 1 full size bed. Every person in the tour was pissed. The last night back in Tokyo placed in the Days nice hotel, it's the smallest room the 2 of us could not get around the room and the 2 suitcases barely fit. Worst part is the AC did not work it actually blew in hot air and the window does not open. When called down to the front desk the guy said they have no cold air. Also the breakfast buffet was the worst had like 4 things bread, salad, pineapple and yogurt. I have tried repeatedly contacting the company by email and phone and they never got back to me after saying they would look into my complaint a month ago. I know every person or the tour was upset and at least 3 others on tour have emailed and called to complain and they also have not received any answers from the company.

Dear Breanna, We understand you are not satisfied with the hotels in Tokyo and are sorry they did not live up to your expectations. As indicated on the daily itinerary, hotels are subject to change, and in this case hotels of a similar category or location were provided and corresponding information was sent prior to the trip departure date. We appreciate your feedback as we continue to improve our itineraries. Our customer service team has reached out to you directly by email.

We were real skeptical when we booked for Japan and China tour. To our surprise it turned out to be one in a life time experience. The guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. They spoke good English and were eager to help making our trip a very comfortable. Two comments how ever needs to be mentioned. One that hotel at Lake Kawagichi had no working A/C in some rooms. It was part Japanese style and we had to remove shoes in the lobby, though they did provide slippers. May be that was for us to have taste of Japanese life. China tour was also great. One thing needs to be mentioned that the guide asked all to tip him $10 per person per day. Most of fellow tourist thought that was high and should have been left for each tourist to decide how much to tip if any. Overall great trip at very reasonable cost.

Honestly, better than we expected. We had never traveled using an agency before but Affordable Asia was amazing. Our tour guides were perfect, the lodging was nice and the optional tours were great. We partook in two of the tours and loved both. The transportation everywhere was an unexpected bonus. I would definitely book through Affordable Asia again in the future.

If you are considering going to Japan with Affordable Asia, do it. My husband and I went on the 10 day trip to Japan and loved it. We stayed in great hotels, our guide was so sweet and spoke great English. We were actually very surprised by the high quality of the trip and everything involved. We honestly couldn't have planned the trip better and definitely could not have done it for the same price.

Thank you, Stephanie, for this great review! We are very happy you liked your vacation and hope to see you again on one of our tours!

Our recent trip to Thailand was our second tour with Affordable Asia; we went to China with them last year. We had a good time last year but this year's experience was disappointing. The tour group was HUGE--two full buses, which was too big. Our guide in Bangkok was nice, but she spent way too much time joking and not nearly enough time telling us about the places we were visiting. Plus, I'm no prude but she talked about sex a lot, which was awkward with my teenager present. Things really degraded when we arrived in Phuket, though. Our guide there was an hour late to meet us at the airport, and she arrived with a dirty, trash-filled bus.She even argued with me when I told her the bus was uncomfortably hot and asked her if they could turn down the A/C. But the worst part was even though we've traveled extensively, we could not understand her. She tried to take votes on what people wanted to do, but everyone got confused because they couldn't understand what she was saying, and then angry when she tried to cut things from the tour. More than half her group rebelled and switched to the other guide, which created even more confusion and crowding. It was not fun. Know that Affordable Asia sub-contracts their tours--ours were handled by a company called Perfect Tour Company out of Bangkok. I would not recommend either firm. When we return to Asia, it will be with a different travel service.
