Gratitude has a powerful effect on health

Emotional Health
Research shows that gratitude has powerful effects on physical health, social relationships, and self-worth. Experiencing gratitude also builds the mental and physical resilience needed to overcome life’s stresses and challenges. People who regularly practice gratitude report higher levels of positive emotions, including more joy, pleasure, happiness, and optimism. These people also tend to have stronger social relationships and fewer feelings of isolation and loneliness, perhaps resulting from the fact that they are shown to be more generous, compassionate, and forgiving.

Oxytocin rewards you for building friendships and social alliances. The happy feeling you get when you feel you can confide in or trust another person is due to oxytocin release in your brain. Every experience of belonging or connection triggers oxytocin.

Oxytocin is also important for bonding. When a child is born, oxytocin is released in its mother’s brain, motivating her to look after her newborn. Oxytocin also flows in the child’s brain, building the attachment between parent and child. Oxytocin is also known as the love hormone produced in larger quantities by women than by men during sexual bonding and orgasm.

Kinesiology can be used to identify and reduce stress and blockages that exist within the hormonal system. The chakras provide a direct connection to the functioning of the endocrine glands and balancing the energy of these centres can have an effect on your hormonal expression. Kinesiology can also determine what lifestyle and dietary changes need to be made to get your hormones balanced.

Seratonin can be blamed for the drive of power hungry politicians. It is the chemical that rewards us when we assert our position by dominating others. Our brain rewards us whenever we feel respected in our position in the social hierarchy. Unfortunately, despite attempts to promote fairness, equality and kindness in modern society, we still feel good when we occupy positions of power and dominance. This can explain why we like to win.

Kinesiology can be used as a tool to identify and reduce stress and blockages that exist within the hormonal system. The chakras provide a direct connection to the functioning of the endocrine glands and balancing the energy of these centres can have an effect on your hormonal expression. Kinesiology can also determine what lifestyle and dietary changes need to be made to get your hormones balanced.

Using kinesiology in combination with Nutrition, Yoga, Counselling, Dreamwork, Chinese medicine and the Chakra system can help to balance body and mind.

When dreaming about the life we want we need to fully trust and believe that it is the life that we deserve. If we are holding on to old belief systems that do not support our dreams then it is impossible for us to manifest them. For example, imagine that your wish and desire is to be a performing artist but your underlying belief (or internal monologue) is that you do not feel worthy of attention (developed many years earlier by the subconscious). How then can you manifest your desire without recognising and changing the underlying belief system that blocks you?

What is Depression?

We can all feel sad, moody or low from time to time. However, some people experience these feelings intensely, for long periods of time (weeks, months or even years) and sometimes without any defined reason.

Depression is a serious illness that has an impact on both physical and mental health.

Kinesiology helps us to identify the causes of depression or ‘dark night’ by accessing the many and varied subconscious connections that lead to an depressed state. By working with the subconscious mind to unlock and integrate past experiences and events we can help the body to let go of stress, emotional attachment and energetic blockages. We can also determine if nutritional supplementation is needed to help with the healing process.
