For a regional airport is better than expected. Departure lounge does not offer much but it is spacious with plenty of areas to sit and wait for the gate opening. Shopping very limited and so is duty free.

Small and easy to navigate. Be careful with the taxis! My wife and I took a taxi to our hotel. We asked first if we could pay with our credit card, the driver said yes, half way there he stoped at an ATM and told me to get out and get cash. Obviously I refused and told him under any circumstance I would do that, long story short. He charged us €40 Euros, we thought it was too much considering the distance between the airport and our hotel was less than 5 kilometers. As soon as we arrived to our hotel we asked to the front desk attendant if he had an idea of how much would it be for a ride like that and he told us at must €30 Euros.

Truly terrible customer service. We had been stranded on the Aeolian islands and missed our flight to the UK. Instead of helping us, they just said "impossible" to everything, without engaging us or looking me in the eye - beyond unhelpful, clearly not going to do their job (ie help customers) and just waiting until we went away. Even if your staff have just looked for the same flights for the previous ten people in the queue, I would expect them to explain that to me, and let me see them check again on their computer, just in case something had come up in the meantime. Luckily, the EasyJet check-in staff did have a look, and they found us places. Then, when we returned to book those seats with you, your staff still informed us that there was "no seats" and it was "impossible". Your staff's rude and unhelpful approach made a difficult experience even more frustrating and stressful.

Small but à decent AirPort. It is clean and the connection to the city with the Alibus is perfect. all of you that complain about waiting times, welcome to Italy :)

My god... I travel a lot across europe but this one is really something. People (at the airport I mean) are really NOT hiding their hate for tourists: disrespect, not polite, slow as hell... What a shame for such a wonderful country. Special mention for the "Lost and Found": A friend of mine lost his case, got it LITERALLY 2 months later after threatening to involve the police. Please do something!

Terrible organization! Misplaced half of our luggage on the wrong band, luckily the luggage was tagged peculiarly so i was able to spot it before needing to report it at lost and found.

There isn't much good to say, overcrowded, insufficient seating, overpriced and disorganised. One of the worst airports I've visited.
