The public transport chaos continues. Diesel trains will run a shuttle service on the Seaford line from 3pm today. Updates at the link. 
ELECTRIC trains have been replaced on the Seaford line with diesel locomotives as engineers work to fix an electrical fault which has caused widespread chaos.

PRIME Minister Malcolm Turnbull has announced 12 new submarines worth $50 billion will be built by a French company, with most of the work to be undertaken in Adelaide.

After a couple of terrible days, finally some good news. The Country Fire Service has advised that the Pinery Fire, which tragically claimed two lives, millions of dollars worth of crops, thousands of animals and 35 homes - has been contained. But the public is asked to continue to remain vigilant as there are still risks and hazards to be aware of. 
THE deadly Pinery fire has been officially declared as contained by the Country Fire Service as locals continue to be confronted by its widespead devastation.
