Why we've decided to do a team building activity at least once a week... http://ow.ly/ORza302w94Z
It shouldn’t come as a surprise that we as a team building company believe in what we do, but recently we’ve made a commitment to engage in a new team building activity every Friday. Why companies should get rid of annual reviews in favor of more regular feedback... http://ow.ly/F7B63005jM7
Annual reviews are not good for the employee or the employer. Ditch them in favor of more regular, conversational feedback.

It's not often that a company so enthusiastically invests in team development, yet this group of managers from GVEC meet monthly to improve team processes and individual performance. After a fun Build a Boat a few years ago, they came back for more. Pursuit provided the perfect backdrop for practicing collaboration, communication and the power of teaming.

Bethune-Cookman University sophomores built upon their classroom work on leadership by experientially practicing effective communication, decision-making in a group and problem-solving. Many students increased their comfort level with their peers and increased their awareness of the dynamics of leadership in action while having a fun day outdoors together.

Innovation is the name of the game for this team of designers from Netflix. Armed with pirate eye patches and high energy, this group embraced the Build a Boat challenge with vigor. After some collaborative planning and building time, they created boats that actually floated on Monterey Bay!

Communication is as much about the message as it is about how it is conveyed... http://ow.ly/Z2gCe
Communication is as much about the message as it is about how it is conveyed. Sometimes, it's necessary to change how we communicate things to make sure our audience understands us.

CloudPassage recently conducted an All Hands Meeting at The Meritage Resort and Spa in the beautiful Napa Valley. The enthusiastic and competitive teams vied for the highest point total by participating in fast-paced challenges during Buildin’ Bikes. The group’s high energy and laughter was only eclipsed by the smiles of the children from the Boys & Girls Club of Napa Valley who received the bikes as gifts.

ClickSafety, Inc. believes in philanthropy while having fun! This team of sales and product managers built awesome model bridges with a simulated geographical barrier to communication. Teams timed their simulated text messages and back-to-back “phone calls” to share precious information in a timely and effective manner. Along the way, each team earned items based on exhibiting behaviors congruent with the company values. The finale of testing the strength of the bridges led into the excitement of donating needed and appreciated items to Foster a Dream.
