Check out our favorite Adventure Lifers' newest episode! http://ow.ly/NLTYK #twofortheroad #huaorani #ecuador #amazon #travel
They say that "travel is as much about the journey as it is the destination," and we can happily admit that's never been more true than in our latest epic episode. Come along with us as we travel by van, by plane and by dugout canoe into the unspoiled wilds of the Ecuadorian Amazon...

Literature lover? Here are some destinations for the "bookworms" of the world! http://ow.ly/MuaNh #literature #travel #englishlit #book
Even if Dublin’s only literary son was James Joyce, the Irish capital would still deserve a spot on this list. Once a year on June 16, fans of Ulysses—often decked out in period costume—retrace the fictional Leopold Bloom’s journey through the city. Visiting another time? Celebrate the stream-of-consciousness connoisseur with a walking tour curated by James Joyce Centre, then stop in the Dublin Writers’ Museum or sneak a peek of The Book of Kells...

The worldwide travel landscape has changed dramatically over the past decade. Several countries have opened up to tourism, many have become safer, and a handful of new nations have even been formed.

Snaking cliff-top roads and a minuscule harbor have protected Tellaro from the wave of tourism that has swallowed other Ligurian seaside towns like Vernazza and Portofino. A jumble of pastel buildings clings vertiginously to the sheer cliffs of Tellaro, which occupies the easternmost tip of the Golfo dei Poeti. It’s named for the poets and literary icons like Lord Byron and D. H. Lawrence who have sought inspiration in this Mediterranean haven.

My husband, daughter and I just returned from a fantastic trip to the Galapagos Islands aboard the Galapagos Legend Cruise Ship! It was the trip of a lifetime thanks to Mary C. and Veronika S. from Adventure Life! Everything was taken care of for us! The Naturalists on the ship were so informative; the food was great; the living accommodations were very comfortable; the islands we visited were amazing; the animals were just like in National Geographic! It was a dream come true for all of us!

My wife and I just got back from a sail boat cruise of the US & British Virgin Islands. Jessica from Adventure Life was a great help making sure everything was taken care of. The crew of the Talofa (Captain "Cactus", First Mate Coleen & Chef Matt) were top notch; no one wanted or needed for anything ever and every meal was 5 stars. I can't say enough about our trip. This was a trip of a lifetime.

My husband and I went on a trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands arranged by Adventure Life. Everything about the trip was first class and excellent. Adventure Life went beyond our expectations making arrangements for us including special meal accommodations. They are easy to work with and promptly answered any questions we had.

In July 2014 we did the Adventure Life Galapagos Multi-Sport trip. It was absolutely superb in all respects. All arrangements - from the first pick up at the airport to transferring us back to Quito to start an independent tour - were flawless. Adventure Life arranged five hotels for us - two in Quito and three in the Galapagos - and all were excellent. Our guide for the Galapagos tour - Alfredo - was energetic, knowledgeable and excited about what he was showing us. We loved the fast pace and feel we got the most we could out of our time. This is the second time we've travelled with Adventure Life and we will definitely do it again!

My husband and I recently completed a short visit to Peru, the highlights of which were Cusco, the Sacred Valley and of course, Machu Picchu. It was superbly organised by Adventure Life and gave us a good insight into the Inca civilisation, largely through our very knowledgeable guide, Ayul. He was the best! The historical sites selected by Ayul were as impressive as Machu Picchu (well, almost) and indicated a level of sophistication of that early civilisation which regrettably, was lost after the Spanish conquest. We were also accommodated in lovely hotels - all three quite different, but very attractive, well appointed and so comfortable. Cudos to Adventure Life. We have already started recommending the company to friends, and are considering another trip with them in the not too distant future.

It was an honor to help you make this dream come true, Marlene! We are thrilled that you both had an adventure of a lifetime. We are slightly biased, but we believe our Peru guides are some of the BEST in the world! Thank you for the recommendations, and we look forward to planning more trips for you in the future.

Our November 2014 tour to Santiago, Chile and the Easter Islands was our first travel experience with Adventure Life. We began booking the tour with Erin, who was very pleasant and had an excellent knowledge of the country and the hotels. After booking the tour, Jodi became our go-to contact. She is fabulous and took care of every detail of our trip. There was not one disappointment in our trip. Airport pickups were timely, the hotels were excellent and the tour guide, Josie, who they arranged for us in the Easter Islands was fabulous. We highly recommend Adventure Life, and we will continue to book our trips with them in the future.

Just returned from 7 nights in Panama arranged by Adventure Life. We wanted to make this more of an eco-tour and we were not disappointed: Gatun Lake Camino de Cruces Boquete Bocas del Toro Sure, we had to see the wonderment of the canal and the Milaflores locks but, the rest of the time was spent in the rain forest and on the water. High point was definitely the "off the grid" eco lodge at Tranquilo Bay. Expat owned. Owners personally guided birding tours, nature tours by land and kayak on and around their island property. Just off the charts. Thanks to Jessica at Adventure Life. We had a great time!!

My wife and I went on a trip to Antarctica. Adventure Life ironed out all the details for us and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The M/V Ushuaia was a fantastic ship if you're thinking of going down there. The Expedition crew exceeded our expectations in every way. It isn't a luxury cruise like on Celebrity Cruises. It isn't bare bones either. The food was good. Booze readily available if you're so inclined.

An Antarctica expedition is truly a trip-of-a-lifetime! We are honored to have been able to help you plan this experience, and hopefully we can help you travel again in the future.
