3D Cone Beam – The Future Of Diagnostics In Pasadena, TX (281) 991-1905

3D Imaging: The Future of Diagnostics

At Advanced Dental Associates, “advanced” is more than just a fancy title. When you visit our dental office, you’ll see for yourself that we truly believe in the power of technology. We provide our dentists with state-of-the-art technology so that they can give you the best dental experience possible. From in-office, same day crowns with digital fabrication to 3D Imaging for enhanced diagnostics, every piece of technology in our office allows our dentists to be more thorough and give you better treatment. During your consultation, you’ll see for yourself exactly what our advanced dental equipment can do. We use top-of-the-line 3D imaging to provide more thorough dental diagnostics and clearer images. This allows us to see exactly what’s going on in your teeth and show you what we can do to enhance your oral health. For more information about our digital diagnostics, watch this video from our associates. You’ll see for yourself the kind of quality we provide to our patients.

A New Dimension In Diagnostics

Some people might look at all of our equipment and ask why we use it. Doesn’t this do the same job as a traditional x-ray? Yes and no. Yes, it lets our specialists look in your teeth to see what’s happening and how healthy your alignment is. However, that’s where x-rays stop. Our 3D imaging equipment does so much more. It provides us with a crystal clear image of every single tooth, and it does it quickly. With our system, we can provide you with a presentation that shows your current condition as well as what different dental procedures can do for you. It allows us to do our job smoothly and efficiently, eliminating any guesswork. You’re probably wondering what that means…When you visit some dentists, their diagnostic equipment might not show them everything. If you’re getting a dental implant, they might run into a problem they weren’t aware of and have to improvise. While this is a good quality for doctors in any field, you probably don’t want your dentist improvising during your procedure. With our advanced diagnostic equipment, we know from the very beginning every single obstacle in our way, and so do you. During your consultation, we can explain precisely how your procedure will take place. No guesses, no messes.

The Benefits of 3D Diagnostics

Aside from the initial benefit of removing any guesswork or surprises, 3D imaging grants us a number of advantages in dentistry. Patient Communication: Faster visualization lets us tell you everything about your procedure. Beyond that, we can show you anything that you need to see, whether it’s a full region or an individual tooth. Versatility: We can show you how various treatments will affect your oral health. This means that you are better educated about your options and know immediately whether or not you are a candidate. Efficiency: With virtual planning, our specialists can create surgical guides that make procedures faster and more reliable, eliminating complications. With better treatment, you’ll be more satisfied with the results. CEREC Integration: Our diagnostics integrate directly with or CEREC same day crown devices. This results in faster fabrication of crowns that are stronger and designed to fit naturally into your bite.

Advanced Technology, Advanced Treatment

There’s a reason we call ourselves Advanced Dental Associates. The work is all in the details, and our equipment allows us to view as much detail as possible efficiently and quickly. We believe in the power of technology because it means we can treat you better. Come see for yourself what our state-of-the-art dental equipment can do for you. Dental Implant Procedure – Watch the Dental Implants Process from a Real Patient (281) 991-1905

Dental Implant Procedure - Pasadena Dentist

The dental implant procedure can sound pretty complicated. With some dentists it can take four or more sessions to complete the dental implant procedure. Part of what takes so long is that there’s a screening process that allows the dentist to determine whether or not you are a dental implant candidate. To pass this screening, you mainly need to have clean, healthy gums and strong bones. However, there are some other issues that can impact whether or not dental implants are right for you. Once you’ve passed the screening, the dentist will detail the procedure. Since the procedure requires incisions to be made, anesthesia is required. At ADA, we offer sedation dentistry so the entire process feels like a dream. You can wake up with a brand new smile! Your family dentist will inform you step by step the dental implant procedure before the process.  So that you know exactly what to expect before, after, and during the dental implant process.

How the Dental Implant Procedure Works:

The first step is always the consultation. During your screening at our dental office, your dentist will take digital x-rays and a face scan. These allow the dentist to show you a 3D model of your head. With the model, you can watch the procedure happen to you right before your eyes. It also allows the dentist to see whether or not you are a candidate and if there’s any way that the implant will impact your health. For example, a sinus infection might be affected by the implant. However, if you are a good candidate, you’ll move on to the next appointment. Natural teeth come in two parts: the crown and the root. A dental implant replaces each of these parts. The root is the first to be replaced. At Advanced Dental Associates, you dentist will use an implant guide to place a titanium screw into your jawbone. This is why its important for you to have strong healthy bones. If the bone is too soft, it makes the procedure more dangerous and the implant more prone to infection. Once the screw is in place, it fuses to the bone. This fusion with the bone gives the implant a strong foundation. After the screw has fused with the bone, an abutment and a crown are placed on top of it. That 3D model comes in handy again here. Looking at the teeth around the gap, we build a digital blueprint that designs the perfect tooth for that spot. This is great because while a typical crown will do the job, a completely customized CEREC crown will improve the alignment of your smile as well as your bite. Your mouth will look and function better than ever! Depending on your oral health, most dentists will take up to four visits to complete the dental implant procedure. However, at ADA we use some of the best dental technology on the market so that we can finish the process in as few as two appointments. By the end of the process, you’ll have a fully functional, natural looking tooth!

The Dental Implants Process At ADA:

At Advanced Dental Associates, we use the most advanced technology available today. This means that we eliminate all the guesswork that other dentists might have to deal with. The 3D model and implant guides allow us to ensure you receive the best care possible. Many dentists wind up placing screws at awkward angles and adjusting the crown to fit on top of it. At ADA, we don’t believe in awkward angles. Call or contact us for an appointment to see what we can do for you!
