If I could give 10 stars, I would! Dr. Silverman and his staff are INCREDIBLE! After reading the other amazing reviews and realizing his office was less than a mile away from work, I called immediately. I spoke with Liz, the office manager, who said they could see me in the next 30 minutes! On a Friday! Walked in and was greeted by smiles and "welcome!". I am a nervous dental patient and the entire staff put me at ease from the moment I walked in. Even when I sat in the waiting room, another patient smiled and said hello to me.. this showed me that those reviews I read were real. When they mention on their website that it's about family for them, this is 100% true. If you're looking for a dentist/dental office that is friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming, and make you feel like a part of their family, THIS IS IT! Thank you to the ACFD team!!

Best dentist office ever, hands down. Dr. Silverman and his staff are like one big happy family that welcome you to their home. Always a pleasure going to get my teeth cleaned. Shoutout to Tiara, who cleans my teeth every 6 months. She pays such great attention to detail and still manages to maintain wonderful conversation - it's like catching up with an old friend. Liz and Lori in the office are so warm and welcoming. They really take care of me - and it makes me want to come back every time!

Dr. Silverman is AMAZING. Everything was great, from the time we were greeted to the time we left. There are a variety of cold drinks and coffee in the waiting area, a video to entertain you if you have to wait for someone (like I did), and hot/massage chairs in the exam rooms. They even have a TV on the ceiling while you are looking up. They did everything they could to calm my nerves... Thank you!!!

My new crown is great! Went without a hitch!! In the past I have had temporaries fall out. When I expressed this fear, I was sent home with bonding package and directions (but I think this is regular routine for this office), so I had no more worries. Excellent dentist and great staff!

You didn’t get braces when you were younger. And now, you’re not happy with your mouth. Maybe your teeth are crowded or crooked, or you have an over- or under-bite, incorrect jaw positioning, or some other problem making your mouth less attractive and possibly even painful.

Do you have to live this way? I mean, don’t you have to be in middle school to get braces?

Considering dental implant surgery to replace missing or damaged teeth, but concerned about how bad it will hurt or the pain afterwards?

These are common fears. However, most dental implant patients say the procedure doesn’t hurt and the discomfort is minimal. Plus, implants are popular because they give patients a natural, lasting smile, allowing them to live and eat without holding back.

When someone has been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), they have a few options for treatment. When the lower jaw relaxes while sleeping, the soft tissues in the throat move into the airway space.

One non-invasive treatment method that has proven successful time and time again is Oral Appliance Therapy (OAT). While the person is wearing the oral appliance and sleeping, the tongue, lower jaw, soft palate, and uvula will be slightly pushed forward. This helps to prevent airway blockage, which means you will sleep much better and more soundly.

Does eating frozen yogurt make you say “ouch” — or do you find yourself wincing when you brush or floss? You could have what’s known as tooth sensitivity.

But you don’t have to put up with the pain. In fact, there are things you can do to lessen tooth sensitivity and improve your oral health says Leslie Seldin, DDS, a dentist in New York City and a spokesman for the American Dental Association.

Here’s why you could be experiencing this mouth malady — and what steps you should take to ease the ouch.
