Nostalgia. So soon.
The series feels hot-wired with modern parallels, extending beyond the Simpson case. Credit Illustration by Owen Freeman

Raffaella Meloni's cover of "if I Fell" is a little bit Paul McCartney, a little bit Cleo Lane, and a whole lot of gorgeous.

Until the CAP uploads the professional video of this speech, every #doctor, #medstudent  and #healthcare wonk in America should watch this video, shot on my iPhone 6 in a large, dark room in Nashville. With Richard in charge of all diagnostic policy for the next 2 years, there's hope for the future of healthcare.

sometimes hollywood folk do the right thing;)
Jimmy Kimmel is tired of parents not vaccinating their kids.  “Parents here are more scared of gluten than they are of small pox.” Knowing he couldn’t sway the people of Los Angeles himself, he got a bunch of real medical professionals to set the naysayers straight. If you thought Jenny McCarthy knew what she was talking about, this is for you. More vaccine fun here!

New original song; a slow, sweet heartbreaker called "Melody."

It's not jazz, it's plush funk with rock idioms; the future of music.
Theo Croker has a new album, “Afrophysicist,” showing his breadth, with plush funk and rock idioms.

Yes, earlier this week when you first posted. And again, now.
Croker is a fine trumpet player but no virtuoso. I played Jazz Ensemble
years ago so I know what it's like to blow and how to listen to horn.
He's young and has many years to only get even better.
He's on my Spotify playlist.

Work
Occupation
I write, rewrite, read, edit, write some more, watch serious television, or rather watch television seriously, teach writing, especially college essays.
Skills
I chop onions pretty well, can usually make a decent meal with whatever I can find in the fridge and cabinets, and I know the difference between an object and an indirect object.

Story
Tagline
Oh day and night, but this is wondrous strange.
Introduction
I write screenplays, fiction, book and film reviews, essays and profiles. The 2 children's books I wrote with my mom can be found on Amazon, along with the one I wrote all by myself, which has nothing to do with children and everything to do with starting a new career. I recently wrote and directed The Mermaid Complex, a short film that was screened at film festivals around the country during the 2013-2014 film festival season.
Bragging rights
I raised 3 daughters in Manhattan and they're all way above average by every possible metric.

Naturopathica East Hampton has set a high bar. This new spa in Chelsea has its own unique personality; different decor, same extraordinary products. We went on Black Friday, and as soon as I walked in the door I started to relax. After cooking for days and dealing with all the hassle leading to the holiday weekend, relaxing was exactly what I needed. The place even smells relaxing. The entire experience was glorious, especially the Bio-Energy Lift facial with Gregory. I walked out of there glowing, and slightly disappointed that I hadn't bought more products. I stopped by there the other day to buy more Gotu Kola Healing Balm, the best hand cream on the market, and saw that they have the juice and tea bar up and running. It just gets better and better.
