People in London:  Any recommendations for places with live music on Wednesdays, preferably central or South East?

Somewhat disappointed with the official #Nexus5 bumper case.  A lot of my micro USB cables won't fit with it on.

I used to really like the SPG Galaxy Nexus cover. I'll have to take a look.

"Google has finally fixed issues with the default camera's photo framing" -- I hope this is true, the current implementation drives me nuts.
We know that Google has been looking to bring more advanced photo features to Android for a while, but it may soon be ready to show off what it's been

It's also an issue on all devices that use the stock camera app, I have it on my +Motorola Mobility Razr I.
Drives me absolutely nuts.
I've given up with widescreen and take almost everything in 4:3 to get around this issue.

As if I didn't have enough unplayed games...
It’s payday! So with our friends at Square Enix, we have a pair of cracking offers for you to get stuck into. Your weekend can be taken up with a spot of adventuring in Tomb Raider, or alternatively maybe sneak around in the dark in Thief. Whichever you choose, you’ll have fun and save big …

Photowall experiment - where are you?

To celebrate the launch of Photowall for #Chromecast  - I thought we could try an experiment for the next few hours. I'm working from home in London and have set up a photowall on my TV, and I'd like you guys to send over pictures that describe where you are, be it at your desk, on the bus or just chilling out at home.

To add a photo to the wall - simply visit http://g.co/photowall using Chrome on your mobile device (desktop won't work!) and enter the code MIEGH. Snap your photo, edit it if you like and hit send. Simple!

If you do send over a picture, post your name in the comments and I'll make sure I share a compilation video with you when the experiment is finished.

I've just added the first photo - gogogo! :D
Photowall for Chromecast is a new Chrome Experiment that lets people collab...

I kinda wish they wouldn't do this.   I have the Last of Us for PS3 but haven't got round to playing it yet...    (Well, I did the first level, then got distracted by other things).   Of course it's completely my fault, and it is good for those who skipped the PS3 but now own a PS4.

Not sure if I should trade in the PS3 version and get the PS4 version, or just make do with what I already have.
The upcoming release was spotted on Sony's online store.

I really need to get a Thermostat installed... Free installation for the next few weeks. Tempting.

Aye, it was more of an open question. I've been looking into it all morning.

Nonsense?  Pfft.

(The +LastPass guys are well aware of it, judging by their blog comments)

What do you make of it? I love the MGS franchise, but am concerned about the price of this - sounds like an expensive demo!

Story
Tagline
Android fanboy, Video game addict and general all round nerd.
Introduction
I have a huge love for technology and Internet related things, my particular passion at the moment is Google's Android platform and a good proportion of my Google+ posts are Android Related.  I'm obsessed with gadgets.

I enjoy playing video games - I play games on multiple platforms PC, PS3, Wii, DS/3DS and most recently PS Vita.

I can sometimes be seen lumping around a DSLR, but I'm still learning the ropes.

Outside of Technology and Games I have a love of good beer, good coffee, piggy goodness and all things Japanese - especially Japanese food (although preferably without the raw fish!). I'm also an unfit cyclist.

My sport of choice is Formula One although I haven't been watching much since BBC lost half the races to Sky.

I may or may not post about these things.

I enjoy eating at Chapters when I am in Blackheath. The food is usually good quality and the atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommend the pork belly here.

Le Pont is a restaurant, sandwich shop, bakery and wine shop. The food in the restaurant is good, but I highly recommend the sandwich shop. The sandwiches aren't the cheapest around but well worth the money.

Fantastic selection of Belgian beers, mostly bottles but a few on draught too, including the wonderful Delirium Tremens. Only criticism is it's served slightly colder than it should be. The food is also very good and the staff are friendly.

The coffee here is some of the best coffee around. You can sit in and drink the coffee or buy coffee to take away yourself, either beans or they will grind it for you for your own equiptment. My favourite is the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe.

Friendly and excellent service. My two cats have been looked after by Moggie Minders when I've been away for several years now. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
