you talking about the battery caddy? I love it. I need to now organize my to-be-charged bin for the batteries that are rechargeable. I had a few ideas for you actually that I haven't sent over yet.
1) I could just order a red colored one and use that for to-be-charged kind of like a kan ban system, or you could print a dual-wide with an "IN" side and an "OUT" side, or similar.
2) Could fit these to standard pegboards for workshop style installation. Since mine is in my home I just have it on a desk. Although I noticed you have wall hanging support on the back I have yet to figure where it would make sense to hang it.

+Paul Irish, don't know if you're still interested in usability in Japan but here's an interesting article along the same vein as your presentation years ago: http://randomwire.com/everyday-usability-in-japan

This weekend I received an honorable mention in the 2013 international Spider Awards for my black and white photographic work. I received my second and third Spider Award nominations as well, in the category of "abstract," out of 9,456 entries. There is a press release from the Spider Awards available on my website, just follow the link!

My first-ever cinemagraph. I'd love to add more visual effects but optimizing this stuff is surprisingly tricky. This is nearly a 10mb gif - you may need to wait for it to load.

Has anyone encountered research on visual phototransduction with non-panchromatic stimulation? E.g. using other stimuli to trigger messenger cascades. Do we know that the neurological experience of color maps to the opsins exactly? Or does it not really matter, as long as a cascade is triggered?

I'm pretty sure Argus II just works by jamming in stimulation to remaining functional cells rather than directly connecting to a synaptic terminal…

So, it occurred to me that a) methods like the Argus make absolutely no sense at first use but the subject adapts and b) the specific sensitivities are essentially irrelevant.

Anyone have experience migrating from iOS to other platforms? Specifically - how have you dealt with your music library? I'm interested in moving to other devices.

Do you have as many loose batteries as me? I have like a zillion AAs kicking around, I never know which are good and which are bad, and I usually leave them in the blister packs - which are ugly and fall apart.

So, I designed this battery organizer. I have no idea why there aren't very many good battery organizers out there. Plus, you can customize the color on it too!

This one is for AAs. It'll hold sixteen batteries, can be mounted to a wall, and can be stacked on top of other holders. I'm working on a AAA and C design as well. Check it out!

I purchased a new car with Harr in the spring of 2012. I was fortunate to have the assistance of Adrian, a salesperson who want to great lengths to get me the car I wanted. My model wasn't common; the color and packages I wanted were even rarer still. Adrian was able to locate my car hundreds of miles away, worked tirelessly (even on his days off) to acquire it for me and get the deal done. Though I have not purchased a used car with Harr Dodge, buying a new car was a full service experience that I would recommend to anyone. I give Adrian, in particular, my highest recommendation.

Sprout is my absolute, go-to shop for exotics and flowers that have lots of life and strong color. As a commercial photographer, I rely on florists to provide phenomenally healthy flowers to stand up to the abuses of the studio. Sprout has amazing selection, long-lasting flowers, and wonderful service. They make me feel like a friend, not a customer, and I'm happy to keep coming back.
