saw anti-TTIP protest last weekend in Amsterdam. After that Baader-Meinhof phenomenon kicked in and I saw there were same protests all over Europe.
Which got me researching and thinking about negative and positive sides of this agreement. Since, effects of its potential impact left me pretty much undecided. I've decided to resolve it with a simple thing that's been bothering me.
That thing has been Nexus 6P European price. I also know same thing is with many other things, i.e: iPhone prices: http://goo.gl/t2XjZH
Recently, when I was in my company's HQ in US. Talking to my colleagues, I realized how there was a big notion of how same tech services/gadgets/etc ... cost different amounts of money in Europe and US. Which is correct, but each side thought how things are cheaper on the other side.
While most of it was true. IMO, this should be thing of a past. Europe and US have world's two biggest economies and markets. So it really doesn't make sense to have such inconsistency in pricing for same sort of goods.
Thus, it would be much better for everybody, if we worked together instead of against each other.
Of course, this deal goes far beyond of what I just said. But from what I contemplated from it so far, and if it would solve problem I just mentioned. I might be up for it.
