"Visions and Values are just words that do not apply here" Manpower mislead people in false advertising a company and send you as saying "easy" work. I got hired on since I was told that was the only job they had, apparently its in december the most busisiest time of the year. The person that recruited me Wanda Jones, and Sarah (receptionist) told me just an "easy" simple packaging but its a midnight. She told me this job needs reliable people and lots of individuals quit in less than a week. I, being an experienced individual, a machinist by trade, thought I need a fresh start in a company. So I went to the company high spirited and the supervisor told me the same thing about reliability. When I started working there I found out I was completely mislead by the agency. It was in fact a really physically lifting was required, we are talking 50-60 lbs, also which requires you to get a cuts and bruises every now and than, also it did not paid that much. I asked around associates that worked in the company for how long till someone gets hired. They said, generally its hard and no one gets hired on but exception if someone leaves the company, which is highly never happens. I asked more people and they replied with the same answer. It takes almost a year if you get hired by the company. So your stuck with the agency for an entire year with a low paid, intensive labor work. I left the place as I had a sore hands and many unbearable cuts. This is my conclusion, the recruiter Wanda Jones, despite knowing everything about the job, lied to the me and just wanted to fill the position. She deliberately mis-represented the company just to push a person there weather he fits there or not. I wonder if the company knows manpower is lying to their own employees and how many times they lied to employees. This was not the case before with Manpower, I honestly thought they were much better and reputable company. But its worse than any agency I have been through. I am done with Manpower and would never recommend this place to anyone.

There were 4 people in the store. I shopped around for more than half hour. No one came to help me out or even bothered to ask and it was not even busy. I asked someone for help but she did not show up. The manager was not even around. I asked one of the associates she said he barely shows up. There was only one person in front of me the cashier took 7 minutes to checkout, yes i timed her because she was so slow. Really disappointed!! They have good sales every now and then but not planning to go there again.

Not impressed. $18 for a haircut and the lady would not listen to what I had to say.

Over expensive food! Wings were not fresh. Poutine was raw with little gravy.

**BEWARE** For starters, a third party distribution company for Loblaws. It took over some another company few years ago which did the same thing. The warehouse is huge and well expanded, probably the biggest in Canada. It is run by agencies which would like you to work 6 months for them, before you can actually join the company. This place is the same as any corporate place, you see new faces every week. The workers turn over is so much. The agencies entice you with good pay and benefits after you get hired (6 months), but you will end up getting let go way before that. This is few things that I found weird about this place. - They wont say your getting paid minimum when your on training for two weeks, I was done training in 3 days. They like to analyze you for two weeks so they can let you go right after the second week - They are super nice to you because they want you to work hard till you go home and pass out. - The agencies are always delaying your pay everytime. - 10 people got fired before I started and few later because they cannot meet the picking expectation - Because people are rushing to pick pieces, there is always broken boxes in every isles. - TLs or supervisors are not the greatest people. I do not think I ever saw people working upstairs in the office. Its really quite. I guess they are mainly in the warehouse. Most of the management? There is much more to be said. I advice really not to work for them.
