+Naughty Dog charity Livestream
We’re running a livestream for Operation Supply Drop’s 8-Bit Salute again this year. We’re not celebrating our 31st anniversary or anything like that. Why do it again? Well, we get a lot of fan mail. Few have meant more than an amazing email we received from Jeff Bullock, an Iraqi war vet. Head over to the Naughty Dog blog to read it in full. It’s the inspiration for year two of this event.

Every minute after you clock out of the office counts. Next time you run errands after work, push directions from your computer to your Android phone and have them ready in hand as you head out the door.

So true. If the politicians were from the middle class, could barely afford one property, struggled to pay the bills, they'd know where to spend most of the money raised from taxes.

Spending billions on defence to fight wars that aren't in the majority of the national interest. That money could benefit the less privileged.

Source: www.huffingtonpost.com | Original Post Date: October 22, 2014 – People who like money too much ought to be kicked out of politics, Uruguayan President José Mujica told CNN en Español in an interview posted online Wednesday. “We invented this thing called representative democracy, where we say the majority is who decides,” Mujica said in the …

+Kristian Kidd I didn't mean subsidising, but paving the way for less fortunate citizens to get opportunities for employment and a decent standard of living.
Defence is required, however as the word states, it's defending, not going to another country and attacking while claiming it as defence.
Why do you think the government hasn't abolished negative gearing yet? It's because most politicians have multiple properties, so they would lose out on that tax benefit.
No politicians will change any policy that affects their entitlements.

A very nice, centrally located hotel with most of the usual features. A short walk to Northbridge and close to public transport. The staff are very friendly and try to accommodate a your needs as much as possible. The mini bar prices are ridiculously expensive though

A nice place to grab some breakfast or lunch, but just make sure you book on the weekend as wait times can be long. The food was quite filling with the large serving sizes.

A great place to have some dinner that's in the heart of the city. The restaurant has a very European feel to it, which is great in the summer. The staff are friendly and help out with wine selections. The menu isn't very extensive, but the food is quite tasty with a reasonable price. Probably better to book as it does get quite busy during dinner.

A decent Italian place in the city, with the hand made fresh pasta as the ticket item. I did find that at lunch the lines are very long. It's usually quite busy, which gives it a nice vibe. The payment system is pretty clever, but I do prefer to pay upfront or pay at the table.

A really great small bar. The staff are great and very accommodating. Atmosphere and ambiance work well for the location. A wide variety of beers and wine available, but make sure to try one of the local brews.

A really great place to go watch sporting events. The atmosphere is fantastic when you have a full house. The one thing to note is that drinks are mid strength in the concourse and the food isn't very healthy. Also these items are quite pricey, but for the enjoyment of watching an international cricket match or AFL game it's worth it

A great ramen joint in the heart of the city. Very reasonable in price and the quantity is generous. The taste is very authentic and they even will change the soup according to your taste.
