A happy ride on Saturday. A day with friends and family at Richmond Park and South Bank. Journey from bordering depression to bubbling with joy and optimism can sometimes be so simple, and so quick. C’est la vie.

Don't develop a feature, however trivial or easy to build, till a user asks for it.

From experience, that's a terrible idea. Your competition will innovate rapidly and you'll find yourself implementing their features by user request. You're better off being the innovator.

Training update - a 3000m ride, a 200Km ride that didn't happen, a happy 100K ride that happened instead, and sundry other stuff.

Meon Valley Riser - definitely avoidable. #sportive

Lovely route, challenging but not overly hard - rolling all along with bigger hills bunched up in the beginning and towards the end. The weather was a challenge, but a welcome one given my training target. It took quite a bit out of the legs and the back,…

First you change your hair. Then you hire a personal trainer. Then you screw the personal trainer. Then you lose 20lbs because of the shame associated with being naked in front of the personal trainer on a regular basis. Sensitive Skin

Living & riding in the middle ring. Also running, hiking & swimming. Interested in Tech-Media-Telecom, and consumer marketing.
Introduction
Sleep, eat, read, think, spout, cycle. Recycle.

Was dragged to a vacation in Africa, so capped it off by scaling Mt. Kilimanjaro. And fell in love with the continent.
Was hurt badly by cobbles in Flanders on vacation, so went back to ride as many as Tour of Flanders could throw at me. And fell in love with the region.

  • Intermittent, aspiring, failing entrepreneur.
  • Hesistant, hopefully ex-, half-decent management consultant.
  • Analytical, non-breaking, infrequent tech-media-telecom blogger.
  • Curious about consumer behaviour and consumer marketing.
  • Overweight cyclist, recent runner, in-love-with-mountains hiker, and training-to-be triathlete.
  • Thrive in chaos. Get bored bit too easily.
  • Patient Optimist.

One Life. Living It.
Bragging rights
Saw Africa from it's highest point, rode the cobbled climbs of Ronde van Vlaanderen.
Work
Occupation
Under Discovery.
Skills
Keeping my head about when others are losing theirs.

Our first experience in self catering cottages, almost in middle of nowhere, and couldn't have chosen a better place. Beautiful, peaceful location, always helpful hosts, perky pine martens, private access to the Loch, and plenty of hikes close by. Loved it!

Best place for authentic South India sea food in this part of Surrey. Add in the smiling staff, and the 20 min drive there is something I actually look forward to!
