Information on Visa on Arrival in Thailand is common knowledge amongst frequent travellers, but I got a lot of question about it during and post my recent Thailand trips. So I wrote about it. Hope it helps! #Travel
Visa on Arrival in Thailand is pretty easy, but it helps to know the details involved in the process. Here is what I learned one my 2 recent trips.

Aditi Mathur’s blog is quite a paradox. Married to an Army officer, she definitely brings in that perpective. And yet, at any point of time her writing is objective and endearing. This double take is a breath of fresh air in the form of her writing style, specially when one considers travel blogs. A reader’s …

It's a 3.5 stars actually, from me. I love Social because of the food and ambiance, but I love Social HK more than the one in Cyber Hub. This one was way too crowded and a little more dingy than I should be. I visited on a Saturday evening, so maybe that's the reason for the dim lights and the super loud music. Other than the crowd and light issue, I loved everything else. The food, as usual, was amazing. Service is great to Okay, depending on the rush hours. Drinks are out of this world. Don't take kids with you on weekends, though. I'm going here for brunch now on.

Some parts of the vast history of the country can be covered in a tour of the Jakarta History Museum, and you'll love it. It is generally not too crowded, but it's still advisable to go on a weekday so that you can spend more time in each section.

Love it! This is for defence personnels and families only, along with veterans and the ambiance is elegantly wonderful. The cafe offers cakes and other bakery items along with coffee and tea. The restaurant inside has dinner options. On special occasions, DSOI hosts big parties for the Army crowd here and these parties (New Years, May Queen etc) are really good. I love the view of Mussoorie from here and the vast golf course.

Beautiful resort and great location. Food is great and the pool is the highlight! Rooms are beautiful. I stayed at a superior room during my last trip to Namah, and really loved it a lot. Spacious and cosy, it has big bathrooms and a luxurious shower. For my second trip, we stayed in one of the suites, and the experience is even better this time. Do try their grilled fish, chicken tangdi kebab and mutton biryani. For vegetarians, the paneer and roasted mushroom is divine. Almost everything is yummy, and the wode breakfast spread needs a special mention. The spa is very relaxing, with a selection of Thailand, Oriental and other services on the menu. The gym above gives you a good mix of amazing views and workout, haha. Above all, the staff is warm and very helpful. Which is why, I'm changing my original rating of four stars to a five star ration now. Very cool bunch of people here, who ensure you have a great time.

Probably the biggest mall in Dehradun, and is loaded with brand shops and popular flagship stores. From Lifestyle to Maxx, and Global Desi to AND - the mall has a lot to choose from. Food options are wide as well, there's a big food court on the top floor with KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King and a lot more. The parking process is a bit slow and needs sorting out, especially on weekends. Also, the elevator at B2 parking level permanently stinks like a public urinal for some reason. That's the only negative thing about the mall, though. Pacific Mall also has PVR and Lemon Tree hotels in its premises. Overall, a good mall.

From.good coffee and snacks, to shopping - Golden Fish has everything. It also has a restaurant for lunch/dinner etc and a stationary shop for kids. In the shopping complex, you will get everything from household groceries, frozen food (veg + non veg) to vegetables, crockery, and more. All this makes this complex a complete destination for your basic needs.

Tried the Tandoori Chicken Burger and the Mutton Whooper. Both were yummy. Fiery to have were good too. The cheesy fries were underwhelming and the crushed ice drink (icebolt) was okay. The service was quick but the staff was very slow and unresponsive.
