It's time for our #WordOfTheWeek! This week it's rejuvenate (verb) Rejuvenate means to restore to an original or new state. We hope that winter break has rejuvenated all of our Panthers!

Please join us this Thursday for the #GhostLightProject! In theater, the ghost light is the one light left on when everyone has left. It stands for safety, illumination in darkness, even warding off spirits, and now is a symbol for a nationwide movement: the Ghostlight Project, which Adelphi University has joined - http://bit.ly/2jFQQHS

They are money hungry! Overall a good school. But they would find any excuse to add charges to your statement. If there's something you didn't want like a book voucher, and won't use, they will still charge you and then take months to return the money. If you over like $10 they will make sure the put a late payment fee of $150. And then they throw the blame from department to department so you can waste your time giving hundred phone calls. So ridiculous!!! Money don't grow in a tree. Students work hard to be able to pay their tuition or have bunch of loans that they need to pay back and the school just adds unnecessary charges. Ughhhh

It's a very small but pretty and well kept school (expensive too..) With class sizes kept to a fairly intimate size. There's always a ton going on around campus and Greek life seems to rule the campus so they're always having bake sales. Food is overpriced unfortunately and parking is impossible depending on when you get there. There are bunnies running around though :)

Horrible financial aid office, you will never reach someone live, you have to leave a message and wait for a call back. In office is not any better. You can get a better education and spend less money at Baruch, Hunter, Queens or Brooklyn college.

One of the worst schools ever! A lot of the faculty are very narrow minded, especially the history department. To be more precise an Adjunct Professor named Westerman. You can't even file a complaint against faculty because the administration doesn't allow you! Also, horrible financial aid dept, but most important the quality of faculty and education is very low! The only upside would be the beautiful campus and its location, aside from that its overall narrow and low quality education.

Bring a map and a gps to navigate around this campus. It's like a maze. More signs could be helpful for visitors/new people. But it's beautiful.
