Worth a read for concerned people, especially white folks.

If you have obvious melanin, dark wool for hair, you live in the US, and your shoulders are not broad, your back is not hunched, your hair is not prematurely gray, you are not [pre]ypertensive, or you are not weary, please enlighten the masses. What are your secrets?

No other words. It is sad that the answer from some is to flood the streets with more guns.

+Miss Melony Your network's thicker than mine. Have you seen this? It's a longish read, but worth every word.

I agree that time is also a factor. I think I will read that book, it sounds very interesting. I agree that economics are an important factor in change. Perhaps just as big is the public outcry from other parts of the nation. People who are not personally involved and blinded by their social momentum(the way things have been is a good direction to continue in).

Regarding that video.... I am speechless....

I am glad to be able to talk again. It has been a while. Hopefully all is well with you and your family.

I welled up. Very well said, Mr President.

I'll leave this here and let the world complain about how he should have turned a blind eye and deaf ear.
Addressing Baltimore’s systemic poverty and lack of opportunity, Obama suddenly was the president we’ve needed all along.

I stopped at 750m up. Dunno if that's the top. Pretty, misty view.

Ah yes. I was too knackered to think about fancifying the shots. Gotta remember that.

The best Jamaican in North East Philadelphia. The food is .. authentic Jamaican, I think. Reasonably priced, always fresh & hot. There is always a line there, so others must agree on the quality of the food. Highly recommended if you are in North East Philadelphia.

This is essentially the only repair shop that I have gone to in more than 10 years. Jack & Chris have always been upfront, fair and accomodating. They have taken care of 5+ cars for us. I find it hard to go elsewhere. They will match prices for tires. They will install tires you buy online or elsewhere. They do more than tires, by the way.
