This hotel is irresponsible and what they did to me is intolerable. I booked 2 rooms all through their website because they had cheaper rates. I showed the receptionist our booking confirmation when we checked in, but he didn't even look at it and failed to give us what we booked. The receipts they gave me were wrong and what's worse no only they overcharged us but also they mischarged me for only used one room as booked. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! A mistake after another. That is not just that. I wrote to them and told them their mistakes. Their respond was it is my fault. Then I sent the receipts and proofs to them then I got no response from them since. That's why I wrote this comment to show people the fact how this hotel does their work. I'm going to sue this hotel to get my justice and my money back. What is wrong is wrong.

Room was dated but ok. The hood outside was a teeming dump with crackheads greeting my car and banging on the windows for donations. Front desk guy said this is normal San Francisco. Most everyone else outside were on hard drugs and the people inside in the lobby were so stoned they were falling out of their seats. The lady at the front desk was rude, unprofessional and could not stop screaming 'calm down' after she told me it would take 30 minutes to retrieve my car from the valet, and I informed her in a low angry voice this was preposterous especially after paying 53 dollars, and I would miss my flight. I barely made my flight.

Great location, reasonable rates, good breakfast. Rooms had everything you need, beds were fine and the staff was helpful

I stayed here with a group a few years ago and fell in love with it. It is small and shows its age, but I love the old charm in it. The lobby is beautiful and their continental breakfast had really good homemade muffins, fresh juice, and coffee. Their pillows were the most comfortable I've ever slept on, especially in a hotel.

Very nice hotel for the price. No fridge in room or air conditioning but location is awesome. 10 minutes to the Mall, 10 minutes to Chinatown, 10 minutes to catch tour bus. Continental breakfast every morning was good also.

Decent hotel. We stayed here for the price and proximity of things to do around it. Quick walk to Union square, BART and F train. The exact location was just OK. During the day it was fine, but at night I felt it was a little creepy. They did a nice job renovating and the front desk/lobby was boutique style. Employees were friendly and helpful. They have a luggage storage which was great because we didn't want to walk around with our luggage all day before heading to the airport. The room was super tiny, but clean. The bathroom was also super tiny, but also clean. The beds were amazing! Very comfy! The one thing that bothered me was the smell. The hotel is next to Mediterranean restaurant and that's what our room smelled like. Maybe if we were on the other side or higher up, we wouldn't have had the smell.

Way way too expensive for what it is. A building site when we stayed. Still no discounts. Breakfast in a make shift dinning are in a room. Bananas and toast! We got a newly refurbished room we were told. I'd hate to imagine what the old rooms look like. The only positive is that it's quite close to union square.

Clean room, private bath, modern TV, and a fridge, in a decent neighborhood. couldn't ask for more from a $100/ night room.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 day. The room was ok. When i got home ( 4 days later ) I checked my bank account i got charged extra $2 from this hotel i wondering what is $2 for? I called them and a receptionist said $2 for bottle of water. What? I did not drink or take any water from the room. Are you kidding me? It's unacceptable! I need my refund! ( if i would drink, i would pay for it but i did not why i have to pay? ) and he told me to write an email then they going to check with a housekeeper. So i emailed them on wed 08/14/13 no any reply until fri 08/16/13 i emailed them again with difference email address but now no reply .. nothing.. It is possible that they did not get my both email? ..This is the way this hotel doing business? Oh! I should say " This is the way they steal money from your pocket! "
