This kind of reads like an April Fool's news announcement, but I guess it's real. And I guess it's one way for mom to make sure you pay attention to her on Facebook :)

- I heard this on Marketplace tonight. I think it stinks. I don't want my buddy paying to list stuff higher in my newsfeed. In fact, I don't like that Facebook is messing with my news feed. I'd prefer they left things alone, in chronological order, and allow me to view posts as they happen -- for both brands and people alike. Facebook is screwing up a good thing!May 11, 2012
- Well said Frank. I don't mind a bit of EdgeRank optimization in my news feed, but I certainly don't want individuals having to pay to ensure their visibility.
