I have mixed feelings on open faced helmets, but this one has some really cool options. Its very configurable.

Just came across this today. Not too bad for an open face helmet.

http://www.spiritstrike.com/news/2015/3/31/schuberth-m1-open-face-helmet
An open face helmet isn't for everybody and they are often featureless and plain. This new Schuberth M1 is as customizable as your favorite iron steed. You can change out peaks, top vent covers, internal sunshields,  visors, liner colors, and it even offers a snap in communicator option. If rockin' an open face helmet is just your style you should definitely look at this one.

no open face for me. I am missing part of my beard (scar tissue) thanks to a high side and lack of full face protection

Last year I started motocamping and being the nerd that I am I researched and learned all kinds of stuff. This article is meant to help the new motocamper pick the right shelter for their personal needs. Check it out and let me know what you would add to the list.

Lithium batteries are often misunderstood. They are a great option and I hope this article helps clear a few things up. If you are considering an upgrade to a lithium battery, definitely read this first.

Just came out with some new Ultralight straps from +Green Chile Adventure Gear

Exciting times! Our first new product of 2015 just got listed on the website! We call them the Mondo UL straps. "UL" stands for Ultralight. Each strap weighs in around 5 oz. and you will love he features we have packed  into this product. Check it out and make sure you watch the video.

http://www.greenchileadv.com/video/2015/2/18/gcag-mondo-ul-straps-overview
The Mondo UL Straps are the first "UltraLight" product we have designed. We spent many hours during product development to find materials that were both lightweight and rugged enough to meet our quality standards.

Airbags jacket for adventure riding.

What do you get when we mix +BMW Motorrad  and +Alpinestars  into a riding jacket? An adventure jacket with airbags! Check it out.

You're heading down your favorite forest service road or trail and you have a big crash. You could be like the average guy and rely on traditional armor or you can wait until BMW and Alpinestars release their new airbag waistcoat.

The padding gave way very very quickly. By that I mean it was comfortable for a month but as soon as it broke in it rattled around like a can. I can't say it has any manufacturer problems but I really only wore it for about two months then bought a used Arai X4. Maybe it was my head shape but nothing I did made it comfortable. I ride a super motard so wind buffeting has nothing to deflect it. The AFX would almost twist my head around when a semi whent by.

I'm looking at the small jump battery/chargers. This link looks just like the AntiGravity brand, but half the price. Has anybody used this particular one?
