I think the pose and angle of this make me look kind of pompous, but it's probably still the best photo I have of myself.

These are the shots from my first and only (so far) into aerial photography.

I wasn't very happy with how the images turned out for quite some time after taking them, but the experience was great. I wished there had been less haze, and I felt like I could have gotten a lot better shots with more appropriate gear.

Now that I've let them sit for a while and come back to them, though, I've kind of learned to like the haze and appreciate the photos as they are. I learned a lot from the whole thing.

This is a good example of why you can't trust what politicians say (especially in California). Just look at their ridiculous statements about e-cig vapor.
Levels are about the same as those found in air.

So unbelievably happy that SmugMug has finally added this feature. It was a no-brainer, really, so I'm not sure why it took so long. Downloading whole galleries will be so much easier on both me and my clients now.

The Palm Jumeirah in Dubai

What a beautiful and amazing place this is!  They started building this artificial island in 2001 - and when it is all done, it will add an additional 520 kilometres (320 mi) of beachfront to the coastline.  We're starting the photowalk over there on the right in the marina! See you soon - more info at  520 kilometres (320 mi). More info at http://www.stuckincustoms.com/events/ - thanks again to Dubai Films.

+Jim Graham, this is the dog I was talking about. It's a border collie, and it actually reasons through process of elimination.

This is a great Taco Bell 🔔 location. I'm so happy I live near it. We all know there are those locations with stale tortillas, soggy lettuce, and dry ground beef. This is not one of those locations. Everything is consistently fresh and hot here. They don't skimp on any ingredients, either. Tacos and burritos are always full, but never too full. (Nobody wants their burrito busting open in the car). The staff is always very, very friendly and polite. Whoever does the hiring does a great job. They've messed up my order a couple of times, but it's bound to happen occasionally, especially when I visit so often. I'm always happy to come back here.

This is the best In-N-Out I've ever been to. And I've been to a LOT. I've also been to this location a lot, and it's consistently awesome. There are always huge lines both inside and in the drive-through for very good reason. Don't let the lines drive you away, though. The staff handles the crowds with such speed and grace it's like watching competitive ice skaters race in the Olympics, except at the end of this you get a perfectly made, delicious burger exactly how you ordered it and a genuine smile from the person who hands it to you. Stockton isn't exactly a food Mecca, so saying this is the best place to eat in Stockton doesn't do this In-N-Out justice. You could put this staff anywhere in the world, though, and I'm sure they'd still stand out as being the friendliest, fastest, and most accurate food workers in town. I come here every single time I'm in town; I always will, and I suggest you do too.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I can't afford anything I want in here, but I can't help but stop in and check out what they have on display when I first come into the park. They feature all kinds of great artists' Disney-inspired works, and I could just stand in the gallery in awe for hours. There's so much else to do and see in the parks, though, that I eventually realize I need to move on.

I've been an annual passholder for a few years. It's really expensive, but completely worth it. This is the happiest place on earth, after all (and the pass pays for itself after only a few visits). I've moved away and don't currently have an annual pass, but I miss coming here constantly. I'll probably be moving back to the area, and the opportunity to come back here is a big factor in the decision. When this place is seriously influencing my life decisions, you know it's had a big impact on me. You're never too old to enjoy Disneyland, and if anyone tells you otherwise, tell them you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

I've been here once on a very, very busy night with a group of 4. The line was out the door, and I was thoroughly impressed with how well they handled the crowd. The options are good, the ingredients were good, and the pizza was well-made in a timely manner. The layout of the small space at this location is less than ideal. It's easy to feel cramped as soon as you walk in because you're kind of herded into the line immediately. You're stuck between a wall and a divider (over which you can't help but intrude on other diners with your eyes).

I like to eat here when I come to the parks. Not because I like the food, though. The food is pretty mediocre. I've actually also had poor service here on numerous occasions too, which is really out of the norm for Disneyland. What I really come back here for is the location. I absolutely love sitting on the wooden deck and looking over the water while I enjoy my lunch. It's also a great place for dessert. Be sure to try a funnel cake here.

Corn dogs don't get much better than this. Considering the portion size, the price isn't too bad for being inside the park. The meat tastes great, but it's really the cornbread that shines here. Perfectly moist and fluffy on the inside and deliciously crunchy-fried on the outside. I don't even like mustard, but if you handed one of these to me covered in mustard, I just might eat it. You also get a choice between a bag of chips or a bag of sliced apples on the side. We all know what we should choose...
