I know some folks who went through this, they still claim to have PTSD..

Fingers crossed we never have to experience this #California.

Fifty years ago today, a magnitude 9.2 earthquake hit Alaska. Land slid above and below water, buildings cracked and folded in on themselves, tsunamis swamped coastal communities and a section of downtown Anchorage sank. In all, 143 people were killed. Below you can see our front-page coverage of the quake. See more photos and learn more here: http://lat.ms/1dyY37X

A very useful bit of info!

The first home run in T-ball, the surprise proposal, or just that gorgeous sunset... Sometimes the perfect photo passes you by as you fumble with your phone to open the camera app. Now with the Google Search App on Android, you can just tap the microphone or say “Ok Google,” then “take a photo” or “take a video.” Google will launch your camera app in the preferred mode. So update your app, snap those shots and don't forget to show off your beautiful photos!

Are you a fan of 'The Wizard of Oz'?, the read on...

My friend +Danny Rettig is spreading the word of his partners new documentary' Who Stole the Ruby Slippers?' and it needs some support. Check out the promo on #Kickstarter and help bring this to life!

My boyfriend's new documentary, Who Stole the Ruby Slippers?, looks into the heist of a pair of ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz. The shoes were stolen ten years ago from the Judy Garland museum in Minnesota, and are still missing today.

Check out his Kickstarter and contribute to help get it made and help find the shoes!
They are the Holy Grail of movie memorabilia -the Ruby Slippers worn by Judy Garland - and someone has stolen them!

Ready for a fun new web series? Check out The Hub....

I am currently wrapping up the final 2 episodes in post-production.  It's my first webisodes/tv type series I've ever cut and I'm very thrilled to be a part of this project.  The acting is great, hilariously written, and is a great way to spent 7-10 minutes for an episode.

Be sure to check out the episode teasers at www.watchthehub.com
+1 , share, and give it some love folks!

*Imagine a world where being Gay or Lesbian is the norm... *

And being Hetero is frowned upon. Be sure to check out this amazing short film from Wingspan Films and please share. This film deserves some attention.

Some wonderful insight into the history of #WEHO (West Hollywood) in Los Angeles

Weho, the gay district in Los Angeles, is turning 30 this year and this article provides some great insight into the history of how it came to be...

Introduction

Professionally - Telling a story through video editing and tackling in-depth compositions are challenges that I enjoy. My skill set and project background includes:

Personally - Technology is my obsession.  I love to dork out on Android/Google devices and other gadgets.  I also am an addict to CrossFit and Fitness.  I enjoy trying new recipes and foods.  In my spare time I love to be outdoors traveling, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and meeting new people.

Check out - My Demo Reel(s), Resume, Website and LinkedIn for a taste of what I have done.  Feel free to contact me for further information.

Bragging rights
I've worked on more than 60 theatrical titles! I can also do a creepy impersonation of Gollum/Smeagol.

Great little Italian joint that is has a fantastic dining atmosphere as well as a menu that isn't too overwhelming. The food is prepared well, the portions are just right. We had a 3 choice appetizer with Salmon Tartar, the Fresh Ricotta w/ mint and honey, and the Broccolini w/ Lemon. We also shared a Cesar Salad then ordered half portioned pastas. This was MORE than enough food for two people....But when in Rome, so we had the house Chocolate Pizza as well...too much! :) But great. Definitely would return to this joint.

Great gym, easy to locate and a large selection of classes to drop into. I had the option to register online first ($25 for a drop in and free for first time CrossFit'ers). I paid when I walked in and signed the waiver. Friendly staff, large locker room and nice showers with shelves to store your belongings. This gym is HUGE for a box. I believe there are anywhere from 3-5 classes per hour, and someone told me they have around 2k members, so they do tend to fill up quickly. I was lucky and had a relatively small class. The instructor was Sara and she was very friendly and helpful right away. Our WOD was pretty challenging today: 20 front squats (from the ground, not rack), 30 box jumps, 40 kb swings (American), and 50 WBs. Sara introduced some new mobility techniques and really focused on performance in the warm up with rowing. This is one reason I love to visit other Boxes, it's always good to see what others have to offer. During the WOD, she was very aggressive about pushing me to my max (probably because she knew I wasn't a beginner, which is not a bad thing.) By the time the WBs came around, I was struggling to finish, but I did with her on my tail, pushing me to the finish line and not letting me rest too long. I RX'ed the workout but finished last. I really appreciated this class and the folks were friendly and informative. I would return here and I would encourage other Xfit'ers to stop by if you are in the area!

This is my first Crossfit experience, and so far it has been nothing but outstanding! Andrew and Jeff are very knowledgable and really focus on your form and overall performance. I have been to many gyms and have had many trainers, and I assure anyone reading this, these guys LOVE to make sure you are on your A game and that you are pushing yourself. Not only is the staff great, but the facility is nice also. It is BRAND new and just opened. All of the equipment is fresh and modern. It's nice to have machines and tools that are not grimy and gross when you pick them up. There is plenty of space to move around freely. There is nothing more aggravating that arriving to a trainer or a class, and the program is not prepared or is half assed. At Crossfit Solcity, everything is pre-planned and professionally executed. I really recommend that everyone give Crossfit a chance. You would be surprised the amazing techniques that these guys can teach you in one class. Stop in, they will give you a free class to try it out! UPDATE: 4 MONTHS LATER. I have continued to visit this gym and my strength has sky rocketed. My build, motivation, and social life within the gym has continued to grow. I strongly recommend anyone who wants to try out CrossFit for their first time, stop by here and grab a free pass to try it out. The staff is beyond helpful and will really take the time to make sure you enjoy yourself, and gain the results you desire!

This hotel is brand new and I stayed here for business. The rooms are IMMACULATE and so modern. Everything is clean, the shower was my favorite. The rooftop bar is a great extra to just hang at in the evening and have a bite or a drink w/ friends. The beds are comfy and the staff was very pleasant. I would highly recommend for the price staying here versus the tourist traps. A lot of local places to walk to easily as well. I will definitely return to this spot.

Great BBQ spot, perfect for a stop on the way to Tahoe. Portions are just right, not overwhelming and the selections of meats were nice. Not enough greens as choices of sides I must say.

Def one of the top sushi restaurants I've experienced in SF so far. The atmosphere is very 'upscale'ish. Service was above average. Food was well prepared and a nice selection of rolls to choose from. I will definitely revisit with friends or on a night out when I want something I can depend on.

Nice choice for a quick breakfast or brunch. The prices and selection of food are reasonable and quickly served. The outside patio limits what areas you can sit in with alcohol and it can get quite tight/crowded. Acceptable for a quick get together if you are in the area.
