Holy wowsers, this looks great. #gmail redesign on the way

Leaked Gmail Screenshots show new Android design UI

Superman, I mean +Russell Holly, has obtained leaked images from an upcoming version of Gmail for Android. The app below looks almost nothing like the current Gmail app, sporting a very different user interface. It's very color, much prettier, and has no action overflow menu.

Full story on +Geek.com http://goo.gl/td8q9j

What if this is the new design method for Android? A more colorful, prettier UI. The design language below looks very similar to the colorful UI we've seen on Android Wear. What if Android Wear is sporting the new Android Design guidelines from Google and that's the directoin Android is going too? I guess we'll find out soon enough. Maybe at #IO14?

What do you think?

+Eddie Smith III all good points man.  I think it looks good, but anything would be a nice retouch to what we currently have.  I'm all for forward advancement of the UI...in order to keep others interested of course.

I know some folks who went through this, they still claim to have PTSD..

Fingers crossed we never have to experience this #California.

Fifty years ago today, a magnitude 9.2 earthquake hit Alaska. Land slid above and below water, buildings cracked and folded in on themselves, tsunamis swamped coastal communities and a section of downtown Anchorage sank. In all, 143 people were killed. Below you can see our front-page coverage of the quake. See more photos and learn more here: http://lat.ms/1dyY37X

Cool new feature in *#gmail** that I saw introduced today...check out my Kangaroo Selfie!*

#Google is offering  #selfie  photos as your background/theme in gmail.  Cool and interesting concept.  I wanted to try my own and I absolutely LOVE this Kangaroo photo from my Australia trip.  It's a total #KangarooSelfie .

I thought it might be worth sharing, enjoy, use and  #followme  if you desire!

Could use some tips here if anyone knows?

Saying goodbye to this gmail account..and in with the new...

So I've updated to a new Gmail address for more of a professional take on life.  In doing so, I know that I will have to transfer Drive, Music, Gmail, Hangouts AND G+.

I have read articles how to transfer and I have started the process.  It happens in 7 days after you authorize it and after it's done, all my circles and subscribers auto transfer, however all my past post will be lost :/  this is a bummer so I guess that's it for things I've shared.  In hindsight, I suppose it's a way to clean up my past!

Any tips on saving previous posts though?

Those you can just download and re-upload.  Some of it will have to be a manual process. :(

Ready for a fun new web series? Check out The Hub....

I am currently wrapping up the final 2 episodes in post-production.  It's my first webisodes/tv type series I've ever cut and I'm very thrilled to be a part of this project.  The acting is great, hilariously written, and is a great way to spent 7-10 minutes for an episode.

Be sure to check out the episode teasers at www.watchthehub.com
+1 , share, and give it some love folks!

Great little Italian joint that is has a fantastic dining atmosphere as well as a menu that isn't too overwhelming. The food is prepared well, the portions are just right. We had a 3 choice appetizer with Salmon Tartar, the Fresh Ricotta w/ mint and honey, and the Broccolini w/ Lemon. We also shared a Cesar Salad then ordered half portioned pastas. This was MORE than enough food for two people....But when in Rome, so we had the house Chocolate Pizza as well...too much! :) But great. Definitely would return to this joint.

Great gym, easy to locate and a large selection of classes to drop into. I had the option to register online first ($25 for a drop in and free for first time CrossFit'ers). I paid when I walked in and signed the waiver. Friendly staff, large locker room and nice showers with shelves to store your belongings. This gym is HUGE for a box. I believe there are anywhere from 3-5 classes per hour, and someone told me they have around 2k members, so they do tend to fill up quickly. I was lucky and had a relatively small class. The instructor was Sara and she was very friendly and helpful right away. Our WOD was pretty challenging today: 20 front squats (from the ground, not rack), 30 box jumps, 40 kb swings (American), and 50 WBs. Sara introduced some new mobility techniques and really focused on performance in the warm up with rowing. This is one reason I love to visit other Boxes, it's always good to see what others have to offer. During the WOD, she was very aggressive about pushing me to my max (probably because she knew I wasn't a beginner, which is not a bad thing.) By the time the WBs came around, I was struggling to finish, but I did with her on my tail, pushing me to the finish line and not letting me rest too long. I RX'ed the workout but finished last. I really appreciated this class and the folks were friendly and informative. I would return here and I would encourage other Xfit'ers to stop by if you are in the area!

This is my first Crossfit experience, and so far it has been nothing but outstanding! Andrew and Jeff are very knowledgable and really focus on your form and overall performance. I have been to many gyms and have had many trainers, and I assure anyone reading this, these guys LOVE to make sure you are on your A game and that you are pushing yourself. Not only is the staff great, but the facility is nice also. It is BRAND new and just opened. All of the equipment is fresh and modern. It's nice to have machines and tools that are not grimy and gross when you pick them up. There is plenty of space to move around freely. There is nothing more aggravating that arriving to a trainer or a class, and the program is not prepared or is half assed. At Crossfit Solcity, everything is pre-planned and professionally executed. I really recommend that everyone give Crossfit a chance. You would be surprised the amazing techniques that these guys can teach you in one class. Stop in, they will give you a free class to try it out! UPDATE: 4 MONTHS LATER. I have continued to visit this gym and my strength has sky rocketed. My build, motivation, and social life within the gym has continued to grow. I strongly recommend anyone who wants to try out CrossFit for their first time, stop by here and grab a free pass to try it out. The staff is beyond helpful and will really take the time to make sure you enjoy yourself, and gain the results you desire!

This hotel is brand new and I stayed here for business. The rooms are IMMACULATE and so modern. Everything is clean, the shower was my favorite. The rooftop bar is a great extra to just hang at in the evening and have a bite or a drink w/ friends. The beds are comfy and the staff was very pleasant. I would highly recommend for the price staying here versus the tourist traps. A lot of local places to walk to easily as well. I will definitely return to this spot.

Great BBQ spot, perfect for a stop on the way to Tahoe. Portions are just right, not overwhelming and the selections of meats were nice. Not enough greens as choices of sides I must say.

Def one of the top sushi restaurants I've experienced in SF so far. The atmosphere is very 'upscale'ish. Service was above average. Food was well prepared and a nice selection of rolls to choose from. I will definitely revisit with friends or on a night out when I want something I can depend on.

Nice choice for a quick breakfast or brunch. The prices and selection of food are reasonable and quickly served. The outside patio limits what areas you can sit in with alcohol and it can get quite tight/crowded. Acceptable for a quick get together if you are in the area.
