Some great tips for avoiding letting your ego get in the way of your creativity. I've definitely caught myself doing these before.
An inflated ego can surface in the most subtle ways. Know the difference between confidence and arrogance so you can do your best creative work.

Beautiful picture of the new Bay Bridge.

A River Runs Through It

I made a late night run out to The Island last night once I heard that the new San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge was open to traffic ahead of schedule. I wasn't the only one with that idea - there were a lot of others out there shooting and I ran into +Toby Harriman  for a bit.

It was good to see this finally opened and I can't wait to venture out on the foot path to shoot from mid-span!

Very interesting to see how these companies are responding to these allegations.
In a letter to to the attorney general and the FBI director, the head lawyer for the world's leading information crawler has asked the U.S. government for permission to publish the number of top-secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act requests it receives from the nation's spy agencies and beyond each year. It represented a shot across the bow from Silicon Valley, or at least an attempt to soften the blow of a startling week of NSA leaks.

Really great look at why more designers should see themselves as entrepreneurs
We're supposedly in the midst of a design renaissance, So why don't we see more designers transitioning into entrepreneurship

Check out this awesome short film by Mike Matas. He takes a bunch of pictures as him and his girlfriend drive across the country.

Roast Chicken for 2 was delicious. Came with a bread salad (what ever that is) that was really good. I also highly recommend getting the Caesar salad and shoestring potatoes. The portions are huge.

The place is great! Has big machines that get the job done pretty quick. All of the machines were in working order and the place was clean. It is in a pretty good location too. One thing I really liked was that the owner of the place was there and he was very helpful when I had questions. He even chatted with us while we were waiting for our clothes to dry. I would definitely recommend.

One of the few times I've had El Salvadorian food. I went with the bistec salvadoreño. It was very delicious. Enjoyed the onions and tomato on it. I'd definitely recommend this place.
