A spectacular site of a Llama grazing the hills of #MachuPicchu. No wonder its been named as one of the #wondersoftheworld
Machu Picchu has been considered one of the world's greatest architectural and archaeological monuments, due to its extraordinary magnificence and harmonious structure.
A MUST seen destination on any trip to Peru! So have any of you been lucky enough to see this breath-taking view?

This is such a cool picture!! Barb Wentworth was recently on the January 2014 Active Adventures Rimu trip. This is the team doing a shoulder stand, on a glacier, in the middle of their helicopter tour of the Milford Sound!
As Barb says, "How can I love New Zealand and Rimu? Let me tell you the ways.... -Fabulous food and Kate and GT were not only GREAT cooks, but genuinely outstanding people! We were totally spoiled with fresh everything and mouth watering to die for specialties. -National Parks were a treasure of beauty and history -Efforts were celebrated and encouraged!".
Thanks Barb

Can you guess what kind of bird this is?? Erik Staub was recently on our Rimu Trip, and came across this large Sulphur-crested cockatoo at the Admiral Creighton B & B. Did you know that this curious bird is known to live up to 20 – 40 years in the wild. Known to engage in geophagy; which is the process of eating earthy like substances such as clay to detoxify their food. The Suphur-crested cockatoo manages to produce a fine powder to waterproof themselves instead of oil, which many other creatures will do instead.
Thanks Erik for sharing this photo, very cool!
