It’s 30XX, Earth is no longer habitable…
Scientists searched everywhere for a new planet but all in vain.

That is until one day, they received a signal on their holographic screens.
It was a video feed of an alien king that promised them a chance to survive.

The king suddenly teleported all what’s left of Earth’s population to his own home with a click of a button.
He stood right in front of his throne and said:
“Today, I offer you the chance to survive and live safely on another planet. However,
There are rules to my game:
First of all, ONLY 50 teams are allowed in this game, each team consists of 5 boys or 5 girls.”

One of the humans suddenly asked “But why ?”
The king replied: “I have always wanted to solve the never ending battle of who is better ? boys or girls ?”

He continued: “Remember though that ONLY 1 team will be able to live on the new planet that means the best team among the 50 will be the one to survive. Each team must face a series of challenges, each challenge is on another planet that they must conquer !”

He added: “Pick your teams, get ready for the challenges on every planet and may the best team win.”

You’ve been invited to this game, the rules are simple:
1-Assemble a team of 5.
2-Wear sneakers, there will be plenty of walking this day trust us !
3- Each planet contains different challenges than the previous one, you collect points as long as your team succeeds in conquering those planets.

The king finished his talk with: "The winning team will be worthy of living on my planet"
A human asked " And how this winning team will be determined?"
The king replied angrily: "Enough talking, all will be known in due time, human!"

The king’s challenge will take place 12/8

Judging by the event’s name, you probably guessed what it’s all about, right?

Not exactly!

Let us elaborate; Remember the first project you worked on or maybe your first ever program? What did you think of it the year after? Haven’t you opened one of your previous projects/code before and thought “How dirty is that code ?!  How could I even write that?”.

And maybe this whole thing happens again next year, the year after and so on.

That’s because what’s more important than the code itself is how to write it. Writing a clean code is one of the most important skills one should have, specially when you’re working on big projects or in companies.

By now, things should be making a little bit of sense but a few questions remain:

What exactly is “Clean Code”?

Why “Clean Code”?

And most importantly, How to keep your code “Clean”?

Our speaker: Omnia Nour from ITWorx will be answering those questions Tuesday 21/4 @ 5:00 PM in Saeed Abd El Wahab Hall

See you there! @
