Do you have a company policy concerning smoking on the job site? http://bit.ly/1MSZVHK
HVAC contractors must develop policies and procedures for technicians that please non-smokers, yet don’t vilify those who do smoke. It’s a problem with no easy answer; one that is likely greyer than the cloud of smoke at the end of a cigarette.

How do you choose a distributor? http://bit.ly/1O9YipI
You’ve taken a lot of risks and worked very hard to get to where you are today — make sure your relationship with your supplier is working for you. I’ve seen many companies that have gone from the red to the black simply by making sure they were fully leveraging their relationship with their suppliers, or by changing suppliers for a much better value proposition.

Do you have a policy on tipping? http://bit.ly/1P4Rp7W
Tipping restaurant servers, delivery drivers, cab drivers, hair stylists, and movers has become a common practice in today’s world. But, what about service contractors?

The objective is to redistribute airflow around the home, but some say the resulting changes in air pressure can damage central heating and cooling systems.

Bad idea.. you're just restricting all the air from the duct up to that point. Just use zone dampers.

Giving the #HVAC industry a bad name. How many good contractors does it take to combat this negative publicity? http://bit.ly/1Qygeft
