GoPro camera takes us into space on back of a test rocket, and it’s beautiful
Thanks to NASA and companies like SpaceX, amazing footage of rockets traveling into space have become fairly common. However, a new video shot with the GoPro Hero 4 emerged Wednesday that is particularly stunning, no matter how much space footage you've seen.
The crystal clear, high definition video, recorded from the perspective of the GoPro strapped to the side of the rocket, shows the 20-foot tall SL-10 rocket's take off and flight into near space, traveling at 3,800 miles per hour and reaching an altitude of about 75 miles.
It's then that the most beautiful footage is revealed as the rocket floats in space with the Earth in the background. Shortly thereafter, we travel back down to the planet as a parachute brings the remaining rocket component softly back to terra firma.

Apple's best hope in India is to sell refurbished iPhones, and it's not looking good

Apple needs a hot new product, and it can't be another iPhone
The trend line that’s been clear on the iPad for nearly three years has finally infected the iPhone. Apple’s sure-thing product category has succumbed to a variety of headwinds, including market saturation (something Apple CEO Tim Cook seemed to admit with his comments about the smartphone market slowdown), a fickle international market and crazy currency fluctuations.

Opera now has free and unlimited VPN built into its browser
Opera has just put a free VPN feature in its browser, and users get unlimited data usage.
The VPN function will be available within its desktop browser with a simple flick of a toggle switch — making it one of the first mainstream browser makers to offer this.
After users flip the VPN on, they'll be allowed to change the country that they are displaying to websites, and the browser will show other information like how much data has gone through its VPN servers. Opera doesn't require a sign-in to toggle the feature.
Similar to features found in paid services, Opera's VPN offers a pretty respectable 256-bit encryption level, and will allow users to hide their IP addresses, and access blocked sites.

LG's 360 Cam makes it easy to take 360-degree photos and videos
Google, Facebook, Samsung, LG — basically all the tech heavyweights of today, with the notable exception of Apple — are all pushing the same message: virtual reality experiences and 360-degree content are the future. But while those 360-degree videos on Facebook and YouTube are cool to look at, there hasn't been a cheap, simple way to actually capture 360-degree content yourself until recently.
Enter the LG 360 Cam, a dual-camera device that takes 16-megapixel spherical photos and 2K-resolution 360-degree videos with a click of a button.
