Response from the owner - a year ago
This is the owner that Jeremy Stutes has referred to in this post. A past employee asked us to help Jeremy out due to certain life circumstances. After hearing his story, we decided to do a good deed and sell him a motor at our cost. He came by and purchased the motor. He called me a few hours later telling me that one of my employees told him that we would order him a 3/4 HP motor for the same price we quoted him on the 1/2 HP (I have since spoke to this person that he claims gave him pricing and she confirmed that a price was never given.) When I stated that an obvious mistake was made, he then asks me if I was going to honor the price that my employee gave him. Before I could get a complete sentence out, he started questioning my integrity. At this point I told him to bring the motor back and we would refund the money. He continued to question my integrity and decided to hang up on me. I let him calm down and called him a few minutes later asking him if he wanted to come by and get a refund...He stated that he was going to think about it. An hour or so later, I get a call from Jeremy stating that he "checked around" and was sorry for the way he acted and realized we gave him a good price. Fast forward to this week and we receive a bad review. Our mission statement is to treat others the way we would like to be treated. We try our best to achieve this at all times, but in some cases drop the ball. This was NOT one of those cases. We tried to help Jeremy out and he didn't see it that way...We then gave him every opportunity to bring the motor back for a full refund if he felt at all mistreated. I am sorry and surprised that Jeremy decided to leave this review. I thought it necessary to respond to his review.
