Jared Leto tweeted that he was in Toronto (where Suicide Squad is being filmed).  The director, David Ayers, tweeted yesterday that something might happen today.  And a couple of hours ago we saw this: Should we? #SuicideSquadpic.twitter.com/Z0WlvtpDtH — David Ayer (@DavidAyerMovies) March 2, 2015 Now, given what Jared Leto looks like right now (see his pic...

I need to get a scanner for a crazy old man.  He refuses to give me any specs.  He just says things like: "it needs to be decent" and "it needs to pick up pencil lines" and "as long as it's not Amish" and "stop hitting me".

Anyone know anything about scanners?

OK so now I know what Sundays are for!
I have WAYYYY too much crap on my computer and I need to get rid of it.  But since I don’t like to prevent the potential LOLZ, I am just dumping them in big batches on Sundays from now on.  If you like something, yay.  But the odds of you not liking anything are pretty...

Introduction
I run superficialgallery.com which brings you comedy regularly, fight evil and I wrote the comedy/mystery/horror short story Whalewolf.  All that said, you want me on your side!

The only things I really hate are olives.  If you talk to me, you get talked to. I'm no snob (except about socks)

If you like Hannibal, WebOS (RIP), Haven, and Wordpress then we will definitely be pals.  If you like olives, you should definitely hoop me because there is zero chance I will ask you to share them.

I have some cool articles and pics at Superficial Gallery but I'm too lazy to bring them over.

Now hiring for the following positions:

  1. Writer
  2. Illustrator
  3. Pilot
  4. Intern*
I just added intern to the list to give the impression that I could pay people for the other positions.

I don't expect a lot from trains. They run pretty much on time. They are hella expensive which is a bummer but if you want to get north of the city you really don't have an option. So this review is not going to affect anything at the end of the day. Sigh.

When I was a kid my best friend and I would walk home from St. Pat's school past Tony's (when it was in the same building as Anania's). The lady who worked the afternoons would give us money to get her a coffee from next door and she would give us a free doughnut. They are just as good now as they were then. They are the best doughnuts on Earth. Better than anything in NYC, and ESPECIALLY better than the places in Portland, OR (they are tourist traps). Tony's is the best. Bar none.

Outstanding food. The room we were in was a little warm (the place is in an actual house) and I think the waitress liked the people next to us more than us because she offered to turn on the AC for them but not us (I should have sweated more). Other than that she was great, though. The food was outstanding and the beignets are amazing. But go after dark if you are eating upstairs because it really is hot and th AC they do have is a big window unit. No duds on the menu. All good stuff. One of the best places in Charlotte.

I pick something up there pretty much every Saturday night when they are in the weeds and I always wish I had called ahead instead of waiting but it is not too long of a wait. That said, the food is outstanding. The appetizers are the standard stuff but the pizzas are outstanding. My go to pizza place in my area.

Made a specialty order (no sauce) and it was executed perfectly. Delivered ahead of expected time and the chicken and ribs were amazing. The cole slaw side was great but (and as another reviewer said) the broccoli side was in a container so small I thought it was a joke. But that is the only knock I can give them. Not a lot of BBQ places can give you naked meat and have it be great. They can and they did.

Had a PC that had an issue with the hard drive (I had already replaced it twice) and I was going to give up when I won a Solid State Drive in a contest. Of course I had no idea how to install it so I left it under my desk for a year. Then I called these folks on Saturday and while it was too late to go in then, he said he would be open Monday (Labor Day). Took in the machine and we decided the best move was to install my original windows 7 on the SSD and he would try to fix the old drive and make it the slave. He was done the same day and called me. When I got there, not only had he repaired the old hard drive, but now the machine dual boots (7 on the SSD and 8 on the SATA Drive) and I can still get to all my files. Smart solution, more than I expected, great price. Geek Squad can take a hike. This is my place now!
