In Afghanistan Girls Can't Ride A Bike. But They Are Allowed To Skateboard

Great story and totally amazing pictures... You'll have to click the link below because +i100 's site sucks and isn't link friendly. They should really fix that.

Well that's a depressing look at gaming culture and society.

Pretty much every event surrounding this woman is a depressing look at video games and society. That she has this much material. That people react to her statements they way they do. The way that mainstream media fails to understand the problem with those reactions. That we are so slow to process the information and make changes from it.

Fascinating. It's not something I had considered but it's logical that it would happen.
As more and more of our time and lives move into the digital world, the online landscape is becoming so vast, we have begun leaving some things behind.

There are also places that no longer exist - I'd love a post about those, if only for nostalgia's sake...

Last summer the car gurus at Edmunds.com took advantage of Tesla Motors’ ever-growing Supercharger network to drive coast-to-coast in a Model S in 67 hours and 21 minutes, record time for an electric vehicle. Carl Reese, of Santa Clarita, California, thought he and his friends could smash that record. This past weekend, they claim they did — by nine hours and 34 minutes.

So not only was the NSA violating everybodies rights, it was done in such a way that it wouldn't even be useful.

A brand new Chrome OS Login experience is now enabled by default with the latest Dev Channel update.

As seen before¹, this materialized design flow takes advantage of the powerful <webview>². Stay tuned for more info about some new features offered by this change in a near future.

Google X project. (Unless they got moved out of X.) No one outside Google and the referenced partner's really knows much except it is supposedly health related. You can do download the app but without access it's useless.

Hmm. I wonder if +Android Police could find some stuff in a teardown.
