Firm Partner Mo Aziz has filed 100 new individual lawsuits against 3M Company on behalf of veterans of the United States military. The lawsuits allege that 3M Company designed and manufactured its dual-ended Combat Arms™ earplugs in a defective manner and failed to warn users of these defects or to provide proper instructions for their use, which has resulted in hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing or buzzing in the ears), and loss of balance in those who used its earplugs during their military service between 2003 and 2015. Mr. Aziz’ cases against 3M Company are featured in the Military Times article below. To contact Mr. Aziz, please call him at 713-222-7211 or email him at 3mlawsuit@awtxlaw.com.

Congratulations to firm attorneys Mo Aziz and Michelle Ciolek for obtaining a $6,050,000 jury verdict that was included in Verdict Search Texas’ Top 20 Plaintiffs’ Verdicts of 2018! The products liability case involved an after-market roof installed on a Polaris UTV by a dealership prior to the time of sale. During a roll over, the roof caused a traumatic amputation to their client’s hand. The dealership defendant offered $300,000 to settle the case a week before trial. The verdict was rendered in March 2018 following a two week jury trial in Bexar County.
