It snaked towards us slowly. A scarlet, silted, rust-red, blood-red, iron-tinged flow. The water seeped around the edges of my boots, my footprints swallowed up within seconds.

It visibly stained my soles.

Up ahead, I saw two men walking, the two men who were travelling with me. But no other soul was there. #traveltuesday

I rode into town on the golden light of the sea. The boat skimmed across the surf with ease as the setting sun threw its arms out wide. Amber rays embraced fishermen, caressed pleasure boats, and caused harp bridges to glitter on the rugged Mediterranean rocks.
Then the city walls of Dubrovnik’s Old Town stopped the sun in its tracks: spiking it into shadows of dark, stark, unmistakeable black. More on the blog today...
