If the projects were fully operational they'd be on Amazon already. The spirit of Kickstarter is to create potential where it wouldn't normally exist. I feel like a pledge should be 90-100% "you have a great idea and I would love to see it blossom" and 0-10% "COOL STUFF!!!11!!!1."
You get mad at the casino because you lose but you know damn well the odds are against you every time. I feel like there's a higher order of acceptance in that scenario.
