A Disappointing Photo Rights Grab from 500px

Sad to see this from a company that should know better.
The 500px Photo Quest contest sounds great, until you get to the part where the "prize" is them getting to use your work for free. Avoid this rights grab.

Introduction
I'm a photographer with a tech background - Professionally I create photography of events, people, and businesses.  I also write and speak about photography and social media for various audiences.

I'm currently building Photowebo, a resource for all things at the intersection of photography and the internet.  If you're a photographer looking for a better online presence, or a publisher/blogger looking to make better use of visual media, Photowebo can help.

I'm the author of Alcatraz Views, a book that shares the story of "The Rock" via photos and captions.
