While I could NEVER study for tests the way my wife Ariella does, I do know a thing or two about technology... So when she passes with flying colors, I get some of the credit, right??
Google Translate... The App That Runs On Magic.
Google Translate is Really Powerful, Futuristic, and Just Earned Me Major Points with my wife who is studying to transfer her nursing license.

Yesterday I discovered my site was hacked by someone trying to get a Levitra spam site higher up in search results (I cant stop making jokes). Turned out, it was Cialis, Viagra, and other pharma spam. It was all there!

In the process, I learned a ton, and you might too, about how hackers work.

Anyway, thanks to everyone who "gave me a hand". It was "hard" work but I think my site will "perform better" now that its been corrected. Onward and upward!

I was the victim of a hacking which I only found out about yesterday. No amount of 2 step verification could have helped here to my knowledge, and I am a believer in 2 step verification. Nothing I could have done differently could have made a difference. The scary thing is how long it could have gone on for.

Apparently I have a lot to write about Yo... and considering how short of a message I am allowed to send on their platform, what I write might just surprise you (see what I did there, Yo).
There is some SERIOUS branding opportunity that any company can take advantage of using Yo. I assume this is just the tip of the iceberg, Yo. Lots more depth that will come out of this company.
I feel it, Yo!
And one more Yo for good measure.
Yo Seems stupid. And it is. At least the Yo part is. There is huge opportunity on Yo that people / brands are missing. Jump on the bandwagon, Yo!

My latest on +Search Engine Land have things finally balanced out? Are we finally at the leveling point? I think there will still be updates and spammers will spam. But it will likely not be nearly as dramatic as the past 3 years have been.

Lest we forget that up until 2010, even big sites were spamming the engines. I think those days are over. If you want to win, you need to play by the rules.

But I could be wrong. Feel free to argue your point.

I learned a valuable lesson yesterday at the growth hacking conference in Tel Aviv and it had nothing to do with marketing. It had to do with parenting. This post is dedicated to my first born, sweet little boy. Thank you for being compassionate on your old man :)
A big lesson on parenting came to me from the growth hacking conference in tel aviv because I lost my notebook. I need to learn to relax.

Little known fact: I have had the same background on my phone for the past 5 years. That my friends is commitment. Do you know how hard that is to do. You wouldn't even believe me if I told you.
And, on a separate note, I have some thought son what your phone actually says about you, selling that data, and becoming billionaires.
But I am more impressed by the same background image for 5 years :)
What does your phones home screen say about you? Imagine the rich information you gather and what you can learn about someone just by looking at their home screen.

Anyone who knows me knows that I think technology and progress are incredible things. But it does come with a price in the form of privacy, or even a lack of emotional intelligence.
Some of these technologies have a serious commitment to social responsibility.
And as a parent (and as a human) I love this!
Would love to hear other thoughts on this.
Future generations could suffer from emotional intelligence issues. Perhaps technology and progress are messing our kids up. Progress is incredible, but it seems to come with a price. And then there are companies like Facebook trying to solve this, which is just awesome! Kudos to them!

To think that you have some semblance of privacy in this digital world is likely one of the biggest fallacies of our time.
We all hide parts of ourselves. Human beings need and crave some privacy in various degrees.
But on the internet... good luck. Nothing is private.
Human beings crave privacy in various degrees. Which is why its so sad that this is a conversation we have to have. Privacy online is a thing of the past.

"How do I use my US number in Israel?". I am asked this question by people moving to Israel so frequently that I decided to finally write it down.
The main points here are:
- consistency
- reliability
-inexpensive
Please share this with anyone who is moving to Israel or who likes to have free things. The beat part about this is that it works not just for people moving to Israel. When we went on a trip to the US, it made having a consistent number that much easier.
And it saves you a heck of a lot of money.
